New Trailer for Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age Released
Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. The game is a PS4 remaster of the PS2 classic, and will feature higher resolution character models, an updated soundtrack, and a job system that wasn’t released to the West. Check out the new trailer below.
Final Fantasy XII is Coming to PlayStation 4 in 2017
Square Enix has announced that PS2 title Final Fantasy XII will be remastered in HD for the PS4. The title will be called Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age and will release sometime in 2017. The game will feature higher resolution visuals and cutscenes, 7.1 surround sound and much faster load times.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Gameplay Trailer Revealed
Sony has unveiled the first gameplay trailer for upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake at PlayStation Experience earlier today. Although the game doesn’t have a release date yet, the trailer give you a look at the new battle system and some familiar scenes from the original PlayStation title.

Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD Confirmed for PS3
Ubisoft has confirmed that a remake of PS Vita title Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation will be heading to consoles and PC, titled Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD. The title was first leaked last week in an image showing Ubisoft’s upcoming titles. The game will be reworked with improved graphics and remastered sound.
Yakuza 1 & 2 HD Remakes Confirmed By Famitsu
An early edition of Famitsu has confirmed the rumoured HD remakes of the first two Yakuza games, originally released on the PS2. First spotted in a release schedule published by Sega, the HD remakes will some on a single Blu-ray disc and is scheduled for release in November 2012 in Japan.
Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee No Longer a HD Remake
According to a Facebook post, the Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee HD remake has been scrapped in favour of a complete reboot of the game. The post reads, “OK, so here’s the skinny on Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee. We decided to reboot it, not just an HD update to the original PS1 title, this is a NEW game.”
The Ratchet & Clank Collection Going 1080p on PS3
It’s been almost 10 years since the release of the original Ratchet & Clank on PlayStation 2. To celebrate the upcoming 10th anniversary of the series, Insomniac Games have announced the Ratchet & Clank Collection. This will contain Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal – all remastered by Idol Minds, working closely with the team at Insomniac Games.
Jak and Daxter Collection Coming to PS3
The Jak and Daxter are coming to the PS3, making their debut in February with the launch of the Jak and Daxter Collection. The Jak and Daxter Collection features three of the Jak and Daxter titles – Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3. All the games have been remastered in 720p high definition and full stereoscopic 3D.
