Gamescom 2013: New inFamous: Second Son Trailer
A new trailer for upcoming PS4 title, inFamous: Second Son, was revealed at Sony’s Gamescom Press Conference earlier today, showing more of the game and just how impressive it’s looking. The new trailer reveals new smoke powers for Delsin, and introduces a new superhuman with her own unique powers.
Gamescom 2013: Free-to-play LittleBigPlanet Hub Announced
At Sony’s Gamescom Press Conference, the company has announced that a new LittleBigPlanet is in the works, and will be free-to-play. The game will be coming to the PS3, but no release date was revealed. As with previous LBP titles, the game will allow users to create levels and characters using various tools, objects and accessories.

Thief Release Date, Box Art and Gamescom Trailer Revealed
Square Enix & Eidos have revealed a flurry of new information regarding their Thief reboot, including a launch date, box art for all versions of the game, and a brand new Gamescom trailer titled “Uprising”. The game will be releasing on current and next-gen consoles on February 25th 2014 in North America, and Feb. 28th 2014 in Europe.
Sony Planning to Reveal PS4 Release Plans at Gamescom Next Week
Sony has managed to do a good job in staggering all it’s major announcements over the the last several month, revealing information about the PS4 in stages, and Gamescom is no different. According to Sony’s Gamescom article, the company will be revealing “release plans for PlayStation 4, as well as updates on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.,” which means a proper release date for the upcoming console.
Gamescom 2013 Live Stream Details
The countdown to Sony’s Gamescom Press Conference has begun, with just under 6 days to go until we find out the PS4’s official release date (hopefully). As per usual, you’ll be able to stream the conference live from the dedicated Gamescom page, or in PlayStation Home from 6.00pm BST/ 7.00pm CET on Tuesday, August 20th 2013.
Sony’s Gamescom Press Conference Dated
Sony has confirmed their presence at Gamescom next month in Cologne, Germany, by revealing the date and time for their Press Conference. Sony’s press conference will take place a day before the the event, on August 20th 2013 at 7pm CET / 6pm BST. The conference will take place at the Staatenhaus am Rheinpark in Cologne, and is expected to be live-streamed.
Sony to Focus on PS4 at Gamescom
At this year’s Gamescom convention, running between 21st to 25th August, in Cologne, Germany, Sony will focus on the PS4 and it’s games line-up. The company is planning to show off brand new games for the upcoming console, adding to the games already announced at the PlayStation Meeting 2013 and E3 2013.
