Xbox One exclusive Titanfall has landed the top spot this week in the UK Games chart, which has helped increase sales of the Xbox One by 96% compared to the previous week. New entry Dark Souls II debuts on the chart in 2nd position, with South Park: The Stick of Truth falling to third place.

South Park Tops UK Games Chart
South Park: The Stick of Truth has swiftly stolen the top spot in the UK Games Chart from Thief, which managed only one week on top. Thief how sits in second place, while The Lego Movie Videogame has dropped to fourth. Elsewhere, FIFA 14, CoD: Ghosts, Battlefield 4 and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag continue to shift around in the top 10.
PlayStation Now Won’t Give You Access to Physical Games You Already Own for Free
Speaking to CVG following the announcement of PlayStation Now, SCEA’s marketing VP John Koller has revealed that the streaming service won’t give users access to games they already own on disc for free. When asked if the PS4 would detect PS3 games in the drive and unlock it via streaming, Koller responded with “We… uh, initially, no. So, we’re saying no to that right now.”
FIFA 14 Claims Christmas No. 1 Title in UK Games Chart
FIFA 14 has managed to beat Call of Duty: Ghosts to claim the Christmas Number One title in this week’s UK Games Chart – the first time since Christmas 2008. The rest of the Top 10 titles remain as we’ve seen them for the past several weeks, with Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Battlefield 4, and GTA V all in the top five. PS4 title Killzone: Shadow Fall is the top selling platform exclusive in ninth place.
Call of Duty: Ghosts Tops UK Games Chart, GT6 Disappoints
In the all-formats chart in the UK this week, Gran Turismo 6 has failed to make a big impact despite being the only major new release, debuting in 8th place. The game only managed to generate one-fifth of first week sales compared to its predecessor, Gran Turismo 5. In other news, Call of Duty: Ghosts are returned to the top of the chart, while Killzone Shadow Fall dropped to ninth.
GTA V Continues Rein of UK Games Chart
Grand Theft Auto V continues to top the UK games chart holding back FIFA 14 for another week. PS3 exclusive Beyond: Two Souls has slipped to sixth place with the new comer Skylanders Swap Force debuting in third place. The remainder of the top 10 remains largely unchanged with F1 2013, Just Dance 2014 and Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition continue to place in the top 10.

Grand Theft Auto V has returned to the top of the UK Games Chart, knocking down the previous holder, FIFA 14, to second place after holding first position for two weeks. PS3 exclusive Beyond: Two Souls also debuts on the chart this week in fifth position.
FIFA 14 Knocks GTA V Off Top Spot in UK Games Chart
FIFA 14 has made it to the top of the UK Games Chart this week, knocking GTA V down to second place just one week after it’s record-breaking launch. Sales for GTA V are down a massive 86%, helping FIFA 14 take the lead. Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 has been knocked down to fourth place, and The Last of Us has dropped back down to fifth.
PS4 Games to have Suggested Retail Price of £60
The price of games on next-gen consoles will cost more than current-gen games, as expected, with the average PS4 game to cost £59.99. Sony has set the suggested retail price (SRP) of games, including DriveClub and Killzone: Shadow Fall, at £60, but you can expect them to reach as high as £70 depending on the publisher. Currently, the most expensive game on the PS3 is FIFA 14, which has RRP of £54.99.
Grand Theft Auto V Debuts at Number One in UK Charts
It’s really no surprise that Grand Theft Auto V has debuted on the UK Games Chart at number one, following the game’s record breaking sales last week. The game has knocked down Saints Row IV to fourth place, which previously dominated the chart for the last four weeks. In other changes, The Last of Us has gained a few places in the chart and now the third top selling title in the UK.
