In fact, Q1 of 2010 is likely to be a expensive period for PlayStation gamers, with the likes of MAG, Heavy Rain and Gran Turismo 5 scheduled for release. Games For Trophy Whores (Part 1)
If you are looking to give your trophy collection a boost, here are some games that contain trophies that are easy to obtain as well as titles that have easy Platinum trophies. Now, not all of the below games are worth buying and others are must-have games (see our recommendations below), so we recommend you rent some of these games to save yourself some money. Re-Launched PSP Titles 50% Off
NIS America have re-releasing some of their past PSP titles to celebrate the launch of the PSPgo. And what’s really awesome about this is that our past PSP titles will be 50% off for the whole week. Sony’s Inconsistent PSN Prices
As the PlayStation Network is available in many countries with different currencies, it’s natural that the prices of games and other content varies on the PlayStation Store. The games in North America are slightly cheaper than those in Europe and the UK, though this depends on the currency fluctuations. Earlier today, we came across a big discrepancy in Sony’s pricing which has nothing to do with currency fluctuation.
PlayStation 3 Platinum Range Expands
The PlayStation 3 Platinum range has been expanded this month with a handful of new titles. Games that reach over 400,000 sales are added to the Platinum range for an unbeatable price of £19.99 / €29.99. This month, some very popular games have been added to the list including MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, Resistance 2, Killzone 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4. All the aforementioned games are available to purchase in the platinum range now.
Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time out on October 27
For those of you who are Ratchet & Clank fans, Sony has officially announced , that Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time will be available in the U.S. on Tuesday, October 27. Sony are offering some cool Ratchet & Clank goodies for those who pre-order their copy of the game participating retailers. Smash Cars Coming To PSN Next Week
Get ready for some high-end mutliplayer toy car racing action! TikGames and Creat Studios have announced that Smash Cars, a PS3 follow-up to the original PS2 game will finally be heading to PlayStation Network on August 20th. Smash Cars is a tricked-out single and multiplayer online RC toy car racing game featuring real-time physics simulation and vehicle customization.
E3 2009: The Trailers
Some amazing games are coming the PlayStation 3 and PSP this year, many of which were show off at Sony’s E3 Press Conference. Crash Commando Patched
A patch for Crash Commando is now available to download. The patch makes a lot of game play and UI improvements to the game (details below). In addition, a demo of the game will be available to download from the PlayStation Store after today’s update. The demo will let you try a level in the single player offline mode. Olof Gustafsson, CEO at EPOS Game Studios, has also announced that downloadable content is on the way.
Noby Noby Boy Updated to v1.1
Noby Noby Boy v1.1 patch is now available on the PlayStation Network. You can update your version of the game by booting it up and downloading the update. The patch fixes a number of bugs in the game and adds some new features. According to Keita Takahashi of Namco Bandai Games, “Honestly, debugging it was hard for multiplayer as it was a hotbed for bugs. So, if you run into a bug or two, please laugh that off. Since there are more silly updates aside from multiplay, I hope everyone has fun with the game as a whole.”
