Insomniac’s third person shooter Fuse will be getting a playable demo next week, according to publishers EA. The demo will be released on the PlayStation Store on May 7th 2013, allowing players to play online cooperatively with up to four players, or in a 2-player split-screen. In the demo, players will take on the role of four elite operatives, who are out to protect mankind from Fuse, a deadly alien energy source which has been stolen by the rogue paramilitary organization, Raven.

Fuse Release Date Announced
Insomniac Games have announced that their co-op shooter Fuse will be coming to the PlayStation 3 in May 2013. The game blends some familiar elements of Resistance 2′s large-scale co-op mode with exotic weapons powered by a powerful alien substance dubbed, “Fuse,” hence the name of the game. Fuse Announcement Trailer Released

Insomniac’s Fuse Gets March 2013 Release Window
Q1 of 2013 is looking like its going to be a expensive time for gamers, with the likes of God of War: Ascension, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, and now Insomniac’s Fuse all arriving within the first three months of the year. Fuse, formerly known as Overstrike, is a third person, four-player cooperative game that centres around a volatile energy source that has fallen into the wrong hands.
Fuse Mission Briefing Video Released
Insomniac’s new IP, Overstrike, has been renamed to “Fuse” and the team have released the first video of the renamed game titled “Mission Briefing 01”. The video doesn’t feature any gameplay, but is simply an introduction to the first level of the game.
