Following on from Sony’s E3 Press Conference, CyberStep Inc, the studio behind Onigiri has confirmed that the title is coming to the PS4 using the free-to-play model. The MMORPG doesn’t have a firm release date, but will be launching on the PS4 this summer.

25 Free-to-Play Titles Confirmed For PS4
Sony made free-to-play games a key part of their E3 Press Conference last night in LA, emphasising that it will be a big part of the future of the PS4 and PS Vita. Sony has committed itself to that future by confirming that 25 free-to-play games will be coming to the PS4 over the coming months.
PS4 Getting Free-to-Play Shooter Loadout
The PS4 is getting a new free-to-play shooter called Loadout, developed by Edge of Reality (The Sims 3, Mass Effect Trilogy). Loadout is a game that lets you concoct the weapon of your dreams and/or nightmares from hundreds of component parts, and share their payloads with your friends in fast-paced matches, with violently comedic results.
Killzone: Shadow Fall Multiplayer Free-to-Play This Week
If you haven’t already downloaded the Killzone: Shadow Fall multiplayer client, what are you waiting for? The multiplayer portion of the game is free-to-play this week, even without a PlayStation Plus membership. The multiplayer mode can be enjoyed with no limits this week, starting today at 5PM PST (1am GMT, on Tuesday 4th March).
Capcom Reveals Deep Down will be Free-to-Play
Capcom has announced that PS4 exclusive title Deep Down will be free-to-play when it releases on the console next year, and that a open beta for the game will be available nearer to launch. The news was confirmed in a tweet by Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida.
Warframe will be Limited-Time PS4 Exclusive
Warframe was originally though to be a PS4 exclusive title, but it looks like the developers, Digital Extreme, have back-tracked and hinted at a Xbox One version of the game and possibly other platforms too. The company have announced that the free-to-play title will be exclusive to PlayStation 4 when the system launches in November – but only for three months.
Free-to-play Version of Tekken Coming Exclusively to PS3
Tekken will be getting the free-to-play treatment this summer when Tekken Revolution hits the PS3. The game was revealed in GameSpot’s E3 preview (below) at 19:30 into the video (below). The game will be releasing on the PlayStation Store tomorrow, June 11th, 2013, and may be shown off at Sony’s E3 Press Conference tonight.
Ridge Racer Driftopia Coming to PS3 This Year
Ridge Racer is going free-to-play later this year, Namco has revealed. The new game, dubbed Ridge Racer Driftopia, will be coming to the PS3 and PC later this year, based on Unbounded. The core game will be free, but players will be able to purchase premium content such as new cars, tracks and add-ons.
Uncharted 3 Multiplayer Going Free-to-Play
The multiplayer component from Uncharted 3 will be going free-to-play this week, allowing gamers to experience the online component of the game, without purchasing the full game. The information first appeared on the US PlayStation Blog, but was quickly pulled down shortly after, suggesting it’s at least coming this week.
SingStar Coming to PS3 XMB for Free
SingStar, the ultimate competitive singing game for PlayStation 3, will now be available to everyone in SCE Europe territories (as well as Australia and New Zealand) as a free download straight from the XMB. A disc will no longer be required to play the game, instead, you just need to install SingStar from the XMB.
