Square Enix has announced that future DLC for Final Fantasy XV have been cancelled, including Episodes Aranea, Noctis, and Lunafreya. Episode Ardyn is still in development and will be released in March 2019, while the multiplayer expansion Comrades will be released as a standalone title.

Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition Coming to PS4 in March 2018
Square Enix has revealed that Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition will be coming to PS4 in March. The new bundle will include the base game, all the season-pass content and expansions, and lots of other extras. The new edition will be available on PS4 and Xbox One from 6th March 2018.
Final Fantasy XV’s Episode Ignis Out in December
The next episode for Final Fantasy XV has been dated along with the release of a new trailer. Episode Ignis will be released on 13th December 2017, and you can see the trailer for the upcoming episode below. Those with the season pass will able to download the episode at no extra cost.
A King’s Tale: Final Fantasy XV Coming to PS4 on 1st March
Square Enix has announced that side-scrolling game A King’s Tale: Final Fantasy XV is coming to PS4 in March, and will be free to download. Previously, the game was an exclusive pre-order bonus included with Final Fantasy XV, but will now be available to everyone. The game is a fairy tale told by King Regis to his young son Noctis.
Final Fantasy XV’s Ships Over 6 Million Units
Square Enix has revealed that combines shipment and digital sales figures for Final Fantasy XV have topped the six million mark since the game launched in back towards the end of November 2016. Day one shipments exceeded five million units, and discounts on the game over the Christmas period has helped boost sales.
Final Fantasy XV Has Gone Gold, New ‘Omen’ Trailer Release
Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XV has gone gold. This means that development on the game is now complete and the disc is ready for mass manufacturing, and on schedule for release on 29th November 2016. In addition to the announcement, a new trailer for the game has also been released, titled ‘Omen’ (watch it below).
Limited Edition Final Fantasy XV PS4 Bundle Revealed, Releasing in Late November
Square Enix and Sony have revealed a limited edition Final Fantasy XV branded PS4, which will be releasing in late November. This custom version of the new slimmer, lighter PS4 model comes with a 1TB HDD, and features a large illustration on the front of the system. The box also includes Final Fantasy XV with an exclusive Steelbook, and the new DUALSHOCK 4 adorned with an XV graphic.
Final Fantasy XV Delayed until Late November 2016
Final Fantasy fans will have to wait longer to get their hands on the latest game in the series. Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy XV has been delayed by two months, pushing the release date from 30th September 2016 to 29th November 2016. The reason for the delay is to allow extra time for polish and testing the game’s quality before putting it in the hands of players, and includes reworking the day one patch so it is included on the disc instead.
Final Fantasy XV Three Two New Trailers
Square Enix have released three new trailers for Final Fantasy XV, showing a variety features from the game. The first is the game’s new “Wait” mode, which can be activated via the Pause menu. The second and third trailers take a look at one of the cities in the game, and the Regalia Type-F vehicle, respectively.
