A new trailer for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster has been released from Gamescom, comparing the SD version of the game from the PS2 to the new HD Remastered version. The trailer shows off a sequence of battles, focusing on the Overdrive attacks.

New Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Screens and Video Released
New screenshots of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD have been released, showing just how impressive the remake of the games are looking. A new video has also been released, which gives you a sample of the 30 minute audio episode, created solely for the HD Remasters and written by Kazushige Nojima. Both the PS3 and PS Vita versions of the game include full trophy support too, and you’ll see this in the new screenshots below.
Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD Remaster Limited Edition Revealed
Square Enix have announced that Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD on the PS3 will be getting a Special Edition. The special edition (at least in Europe) will include a book with concept art from the game, commentary from the original development teams and a special outer case to package everything in.
Final Fantasy X & X-2 Will Support Cross-Play
Square-Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD will both support cross-play across the PS3 and PS Vita, allowing players to seamlessly continue their game from the PS3 to the PS Vita (and vice versa). The game’s director, Yoshinori Kitase, confirmed cross-play support at the Japan Expo 2013 held in Paris.

With plenty of excitement around Final Fantasy XV and Final Fantasy XIV, Square-Enix hasn’t forgotten about Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD, which are coming to the PS3 and PS Vita this year. The publisher has released a new trailer for the two games along with 15 new screens.
Final Fantasy X-2 HD will be Included with FFX HD
Japanese games magazine Jump has confirmed that Final Fantasy X HD on the PS3 will also come with Final Fantasy X-2 HD. It looks like Square-Enix had enough time to get both games remade for the PS3 and PS Vita. On the PS Vita, however, both games will be available for purchase separately.
