Sony has just announced LittleBigPlanet 3 for the PS4, complete with a live gameplay demo of the game. The game will introduce three new companions to help Sackboy through his new adventure: Oddsock, Toggle and Swoop. Each of the characters feature unique abilities to assist Sackboy.
Andrew House has just announced at the Sony E3 press conference that Destiny will be playable on the PS4 this Thursday. An alpha build of the game will be available for gamers to try out, with a proper beta scheduled for July 17th 2014.
Sony’s E3 Press Conference will be live-streamed later today from E3. You will be able to watch the live stream from Sony’s dedicated E3 Hub Page, starting from 2am BST, and 3am in Europe (CET). We’re hoping Sony will have some massive announcements for the show, including a launch date for PlayStation Now (and hopefully a European beta too).
Sony has discounted a number of games on the PlayStation Store this week in the run up to E3. A number of PS4 games are included in the sale, with games like Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Battlefield 4 reduced by a measly £10, but LEGO Marvel Super Heroes has been reduced to under £30.
EA has announced the next game in the Battlefield series, which will be fully revealed at their E3 press conference on June 9th. The game will be called Battlefield Hardline, and will be launching in Autumn. The game is a brand new series in the Battlefield franchise, and will focus on the war on crime and the battle between cops and criminals.
Sony has confirmed its E3 2014 press conference slot, which will scheduled for June 9th 2014 at 6PM PDT, which works out to be 2AM BST for the UK and 3AM for Europe. Sony’s press conference will be the on the same day as Microsoft’s Xbox Game On press conference, which take place at 9:30am that morning.
