SCE Worldwide president Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed that the PS4 will be compatibile with the PlayStation Move, as a tech demo by Media Molecule at the PlayStation Meeting suggested. However, Yoshida has also confirmed that the console won’t suport the current-gen DualShock 3 controller.

Sony Granted Patent for Hybrid DualShock / Move Controller
A patent filing suggests that Sony are working on a new controller that combines the DualShock 3 controller and PlayStation Move into a snap-together / break-apart hybrid controller, combining the best of both. The patent was published yesterday and calls it a “hybrid separable motion controller” and is assigned to SCEA.

How do I turn off the DualShock vibration feature?
If you don’t like the DualShock feature on your controller, you can easily disable the vibration.
Simply hold down the button until the on-screen menu appears. Select [Controller Settings] and toggle the [Vibration Function] from there.
How do I know if my SIXAXIS/DualShock 3 Controller is charged?
When charging a controller, the Red LED on the Controller will flash. Once charging is complete the LED will become solid. The controller can be changed even when it is not in use. To help keep the battery life longer, you should only charge your controller when the red LED is flashing, and fully charge where possible.
