The second downloadable pack for Killzone 2 will be hitting the PlayStation Store on June 11th 2009. The new pack, Flash and Thunder, will arrive after E3 and will feature two new maps: Beach Head and Southern Hills. The maps are from the original Killzone for PlayStation 2 but have been completely remade for PS3. The new downloadable pack will be available for purchase for $5.99. In addition, a new Killzone 2 patch will be arriving next week.
Evolution Studios has a big surprise for MotorStorm fans over the next eight weeks, starting from tomorrow. Free downloadable packs will be released every week for the next eight weeks via the PlayStation Store. Each pack features new paint jobs for three vehicles, and the full set will give MotorStorm: Pacific Rift players a cutting-edge new look for every single vehicle class in the game: Mudpluggers, Quad Bikes, Monster Trucks, Rally Cars and more. Each of the packs have been designed by one of Evolution’s top studio artists and the result is a collection of some of the craziest and out-there vehicle sprays ever seen in a racing game!
The first PlayStation Store update for May is live! Two new playable demos are available from both the US and European Stores and there is also a huge range of new game add-on content. Qore Episode 12 is now available to purchase from the US Store. New add-on content includes LittleBigPlanet Norse Mythology Pack, Wheelman expansion packs, new Guitar Hero and Rock Band tracks and Trivial Pursuit expansion pack. Every Thursday, Sony released new content to the PlayStation store. The playable demos, full games and add-on content requires you to download and then install before you can play them. The worst part of this process is the actual downloading and installing of the content – but did you know that you can auto-install the content so you don’t waste time installing it yourself?

Metal Gear Online will be getting a new expansion pack next month, containing three new maps and two new characters. Dubbed SCENE, the expansion pack will also include new gear, and a couple surprises. As the expansion pack can be purchased out side of the PlayStation Store, Konami have added PayPal support to their store in addition to using your PlayStation Network Wallet. Also, if you pre-order the pack, through Metal Gear Online‘s in-game shop or Konami’s shop, there?s a special gift in store. Check out the trailer below.
The new characters include Raiden and Vamp, both with impressive special abilities and offensive power to spare! The new maps are Outer Outlet, an all new environment that takes place in a commercial mall area made up of lots of buildings and subterranean areas. Hazard House, set in a huge three story mansion, and Ravaged Riverfront, a take on the Eastern European environment.
With love in the air and Valentines Day just over a week away, Media Molecule has announced a new theme pack for LittleBigPlanet. The Valentines Day theme pack comes with a full array of stickers and decorations to help you create your own love-oriented levels. The McLovin Sackboy costume will also available to download (see below). The best part is that it’s all free. So show your Sackboy or Sackgirl some love and download the pack after today’s PlayStation Store update.
