The first Brütal Legend downloadable pack will hit the PlayStation Store on November 5th 2009. Dubbed The Tears of the Hextadon, the pack will include two new multiplayer maps: The Circle of Tears and Death’s Fjord, as well as the Blade of Ormagöden axe, courtesy of the fine folks at Double Fine, Sony, and EA. In addition, the DLC will be available for free for two weeks.

Fat Princess Updated to v1.03
Fat Princess has been updated to version 1.03. Patch 1.03 contains the awesome New Pork city level, and due to the amazing support from the community, Titan Studios have decided to release the map for free. The patch also includes various fixes and tweaks to make the game better than ever. In addition to the patch, Titan has also released a Fat Princess demo, so if you haven’t tried the game, now you can.
Pro Evo Soccer 2010 To Get Free Downloadable Content
Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 has only just been released and already there are talks of downloadable content. The PES Production team posted an article on the Konami Blog stating, “We’ll be adding downloadable updates and content shortly – free of charge of course – so watch out for those.” There was no mention of what kinds of downloadable content would be release so we’ll leaving the speculation to you.
New DLC Coming to SOCOM: Confrontation
Sony has announced Cold Front, a new downloadable content pack for SOCOM: Confrontation. Loaded with features, the pack will bring a snowy Eastern European area of operations into play with two new maps and three classic SOCOM maps for 16 to 32 players. The classic maps are drawn from the most popular SOCOM maps of all time, each built from the ground up for the PS3.
Naughty Dog Talks Uncharted 2 DLC
Naughty Dog has revealed it’s downloadable content plans for upcoming title Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. According to Naughty Dog, downloadable content will include additional multiplayer goodies such as maps and game modes. Multiplayer designer Justin Richmond revealed that competitive content will be added to the game, but no co-op DLC will be available “for the foreseeable future.”
PlayStation Store Update for Oct 1st 2009
This week on the PlayStation Store, there is lots of new content available for download. Both the US and European Stores have price promotions on many titles. Europe has also received five new playable demos and the US has two. The October Episode of Qore is now available to download on the US Store. As for game add-on content, the Watchmen LittleBigPlanet costumes are out and new Fallout 3 content.
PSPgo to Have 16,000 Downloadable Items At Launch
The PSPgo launches later this week and brings with it a UMD-less future. To aid in the launch of the new PSP model, Sony has uploaded 16,000 downloadable its, from games and movies to TV shows (region dependent). However, not all of this is new content. If you live in the US, you will have access to all 16,000 items – but as for Europe, the number is significantly less. See below for a breakdown of content.
Fat Princess DLC Details
Fat Princess is getting downloadable content soon, called New Pork. “Due to the tremendous success of Fat Princess on PSN”, says developers Titan, “we are pleased to announce a host of new content for you, our loyal fans.” New Pork is just the beginning of a wave of downloadable content coming to the PlayStation Network exclusive. Unfortunately, pricing and the release date of the first downloadable pack have not been revealed yet.
UPDATED: Free Batman: Arkham Asylum DLC Coming September 17th 2009
If you have been playing Batman: Arkham Asylum recently, you may have noticed the news ticker that runs along the bottom of the main menu. The current headline mention free downloadable content coming for the title later this month. However, details on what the downloadable pack will contain have not been revealed. In additions, it isn’t clear if the DLC will also be exclusive to the PlayStation 3, like the Joker DLC pack.
