Sony previously revealed that the PlayStation VR will come with a demo disc to allow gamers to try a sample of games, with Sony Europe listing the 10 games that will be included. It now turns out that the US and Canadian version of the demo disc will feature 10 more demos then the European version. Free Demo Disc will be Included with PlayStation VR, Demo Games Confirmed
Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation VR will come with a free demo disc to give gamers the opportunity to try out eight games. The demo disc will be included with every PlayStation VR, which launches on October 13th 2016. Sony has also confirmed which eight demos will be included on the disc, which includes Driveclub VR and EVE: Valkyrie.
PlayStation Plus: Two Exclusive Demos for Europe
This week on the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Plus subscribers can find two exclusive demos to enjoy over the weekend – before anyone else. Plus subscribers can download the PES 2011 playable demo for the PS3 and PSP owners can download the God of War: Ghost of Sparta demo before general public release.
PlayStation Move Demo Disc Detailed
Gamers who purchase the PlayStation Move Starter Pack in September will receive a demo disc as part of the bundle. Sony has now detailed the playable games the demo disc will contain, which includes six Blu-ray based games and three PSN titles. The demo disc will also feature a brief tutorial video to show how to setup the Move controllers.
Sony Patents ‘Degradable’ Demo
Sony has patented a game demo technology that would initially provide players with a full version of a game, but as time progresses, the game would start to degrade or deteriorate leaving players with the bare bones of the game. The full version could then be restored via an unlock code.
PlayStation Store Update for Dec 3rd 2009
This week on the PlayStation Store, the Bayonetta Demo is now available to download from both the European and US Stores. The European Store has special offers on a number of PSP and PS3 titles and add-on content. Just in time for Christmas, you can pickup a free Santa Costume for Sackboy (EU and US) or download some premium Christmas themes from the US Store. A new episode of PULSE is available to download as well as the December issue of Qore.

This week on the PlayStation Store, three new downloadable games have been added to the Euro Store and two new games are available on the US Store. The Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 demo is available to download in Europe and the PSOne classic Final Fantasy Tactics is available to purchase on the US Store. This week, you can also find a selection of premium (non-animated) themes and free wallpaper from both stores.

This week on the PlayStation Store, four new demos are available to download on the European PlayStation Store including FIFA 10, Fat Princess and LittleBigPlanet. A free dynamic theme is also available to download in Europe and you can also purchase the LittleBigPlanet and MotorStorm dynamic themes. PlayStation Store update for May 7th 2009
The first PlayStation Store update for May is live! Two new playable demos are available from both the US and European Stores and there is also a huge range of new game add-on content. Qore Episode 12 is now available to purchase from the US Store. New add-on content includes LittleBigPlanet Norse Mythology Pack, Wheelman expansion packs, new Guitar Hero and Rock Band tracks and Trivial Pursuit expansion pack. No Blu-Ray Final Fantasy XIII Demo for US or Europe
The Final Fantasy XIII Blu-Ray demo was released in Japan a few weeks ago, bundled with the the film Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete. Unfortunately, there are no plans for a release outside of Japan, the game’s producer Yoshinori Kitase has told VideoGamer.com. Kitase did suggest a downloadable demo, saying “We hear that the demo version normally means something that you can download in the West, so that is a possibility.”
Final Fantasy XIII is should arrive on PlayStation 3 in Japan later this year, with Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions due in Europe and North America no earlier than April 2010.
