Capcom has announced that Lost Planet 3 has been delayed until August 2013 in North America and Europe. The game was originally scheduled to be released on June 28th 2013, but has now been delayed by two months. A Capcom Europe representative said the delay was due to unspecified “business reasons”.

Sony Giving Two Free Games to Owners of Ratchet & Clank: QForce
Sony recently revealed that Ratchet & Clank: QForce on the PS Vita would be delayed to Spring 2013 to give the developers more time to polish off the game. Sony would like to make it up to those that purchased the PS3 version of the game by giving away two free games. Owners will be receiving a voucher to download MotorStorm RC by the end of the month.
The Last of Us Delayed until June
Sony and Naughty Dog has officially delayed The Last of Us, expected to release in May 2013. The game is being delayed so the developers can have some extra time to perfect and deliver a high quality game, as we would expect from Naughty Dog. The game’s new launch date is now just over a month later in June 2013.
Grand Theft Auto V Delayed
The hightly anticipated Grand Theft Auto V has been delayed according to Rockstar. Originally due for release this Spring, the open-world title has been pushed back to September 2013. In fact, Rockstar has revealed a firm release date for September, instead of just a release window.
Ni No Kuni Delayed in PAL Territories
Originally scheduled for release on January 25th 2013, Ni No Kuni has been delayed in PAL Territories due to “logistic delays”. However, the game has only been delayed by a week and will be releasing on February 1st 2013 instead, so the delay isn’t too bad.
Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time Delayed in Europe
Originally slated for release on February 6th 2012, Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time has been delayed in Europe and without any particular reason too. The game will release in North America as planned in early February, but won’t see a European release until late March 2013. The game will be released on the PS3 and PS Vita, supporting cross-buy.
New PlayStation Store Postponed in North America
The new PlayStation Store, expected to be released in North America this week, has been postponed following teething issues with other regions. The October 23rd launch of the new store in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil will be held back until further notice, while SCEA resolve the remaining issues with the store.
New PlayStation Store Experiencing Teething Issues
If you live in Europe but aren’t seeing the new PlayStation Store in your territory, don’t worry. Sony has postponed the launch of the new store in come territories after the roll-out yesterday didn’t go exactly as planned. “The phased launch of the new PlayStation Store has been temporarily postponed in some territories as teething issues related to the global roll-out of the Store are being addressed and resolved,” Sony said in a statement.
Retro City Rampage Delayed in Europe
Expected to release in Europe yesterday, 8-bit open-world title Retro City Rampage is missing from the PlayStation Store in Europe. According to SCEE, the game is “going through certification currently.” The process may be taking longer than usual, especially since the North American version received a day-one patch for critical bugs in the game.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Beta Delayed
The PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale public beta, scheduled to start this week, has been delayed in Europe. Developers SuperBot have confirmed that the beta start date has been delayed by one week, and information for a North American beta will be coming soon.
