Call of Duty: Ghosts Live Action Trailer Released
Activision has released a live action trailer for their upcoming first-person shooter, Call of Duty: Ghosts, featuring Hollywood actress Megan Fox. The trailer has been helmed by James Mangold who has previously directed The Wolverine, Walk the Line and Girl, Interrupted, and is full of explosions and over the top action to a Frank Sinatra soundtrack.
Call Of Duty: Ghosts Resolution Confirmed at 1080p on PS4
Infinity Ward’s Mark Rubin has confirmed, via the twitlonger service, that Call of Duty: Ghosts will be running at a higher resolution on PS4 than on the Xbox One. The PS4 version will run at 1080p resolution natively, while the Xbox One version will be upscaled to 1080p from a 720p resolution.
Call of Duty: Ghosts “Extinction” Mode Revealed
Activision have revealed a new four-player co-op mode in Call of Duty: Ghosts, called Extinction. The new mode sees a group of up to four players taking on aliens and defending their base from the extra terrestrials. It’s also class-based and players will level up as they progress.
PS3 Gamers Upgrading to PS4 will get “Significant” Discounts on PS4 Version of Games
In Sony’s Gamescon Press Conference, the company revealed that PS3 gamers upgrading to the PS4 will get up to 75% off selected games they’ve already purchased on the PS3. The initial list of titles include Call Of Duty Ghosts, Watch_Dogs, Assassins Creed IV, and Battlefield 4, but Sony is expecting more publishers to join the program soon.
Call of Duty: Ghosts Multiplayer and Collector’s Editions Revealed
The Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer component was revealed yesterday at a hour-long event, presented by Xbox. The game will be releasing in November on both current and next-gen platforms, including the PS3 and PS4. In addition to the multiplayer mode, two Collector’s Edition were also unveiled.

In more news streaming from the Xbox One event yesterday, Infinity Wards unveiled the “Reveal” trailer for their upcoming FPS title, Call of Duty: Ghosts. The game’s events place after a mysterious apocalyptic event, with America’s only hope in the face of a new superpower being a group of soldiers known as the Ghosts. The game is heading to pretty much every home console, including the PS3 and PS4, and will be releasing in November 2013.

Activision has officially announced Call of Duty: Ghosts for the PS3, and other consoles, with a release date set for November 2013. The game will also be “available for next generation platforms,” and is being developed by original Call of Duty studio Infinity Ward. The announcement confirms a retailer leak from last week. The official trailer for the game has also been revealed.
