The Rapture Metro downloadable content pack and the “Kill ’em Kindly” downloadable mode for BioShock 2 hits the US PlayStation Store later today. Both of the DLC packs are multiplayer-focused. The Rapture Metro Pack contains a rank increase to 50 and, when you reach it, you’ll win the opportunity to begin anew with Rebirth mode. This resets you to Rank 1 with a Golden Bunny Mask, and a prestigious indicator next to your name to taunt lesser organisms.
2K Games have been accused of cheating gamers following claims that the DLC for BioShock 2 is already present on the game disc. These claims have surfaced due to the small file size of the DLC.
The very first downloadable content for BioShock 2 has been announced by 2K Games. The Sinclair Solutions Test Pack will be available for download worldwide on PSN from March 11th at a price of $4.99 for the US, while a European price is yet to be revealed.

With its brilliant art deco style, this destroyed underwater utopia was the setting for one fantastic rollercoaster ride of a story. The eerie atmosphere combined with some great twist and turns kept players engrossed right until the end.

Bioshock 2 is set for release on February 9th 2010 in North America and Europe on the PS3. If you’re planning to purchase the PS3 version of the game, you’ll be required to install a mandatory 5GB of game data to play the title. This doesn’t differ at all from the first Bioshock, which also required a 5GB installation for the PS3.
2K Games has revealed that BioShock 2 will receive a global release across PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms on February 9, 2010. The hotly anticipated sequel takes place a decade after the events of the original BioShock, with gamers assuming command of one of Rapture’s lumbering Big Daddy behemoths as they attempt to track down a mysterious creature that has been spotted kidnapping young girls along the Atlantic coastline.
