The Assassin’s Creed series is known for pushing technology forward, and the latest instalment is no different. Assassin’s Creed III makes use of a new game engine, dubbed AnvilNext, that make the game one of the best third-person action titles ever created.
Ubisoft has released 6 minutes of Assassin’s Creed 3 footage, showing Creative Director Alex Hutchinson taking you through the streets of Boston in 1773. The video shows Connor kill a variety of enemies using new methods as well as old ones from previous titles.
Ubisoft has released a live action teaser for Assassin’s Creed 3, but it doesn’t really feature any ‘live action’. Instead, you can checkout the action in the Independence trailer that was released the other day to get your action fix. Ubisoft have announced a new Limited Edition for Assassin’s Creed III for the PS3. The new edition will be released on October 30th 2012, and will be exclusive to North America and Latin America. The edition is available to pre-order today from selected retailers including GameStop and Amazon.com.
Ubisoft has today revealed a brand new trailer for Assassin’s Creed III. The new trailer is the second glimpse of the game since the trailer shows off at E3 earlier last month, and was released for July 4th celebrations in America. The game is scheduled for release in October.
Announced at E3 2012, the Assassin’s Creed 3 PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 bundles are now available for pre-order online. The PS3 bundle costs $299.99 and will include a black 320 GB PS3 and Assassin’s Creed 3 on Blu-ray. The Vita bundle costs $249.99 and include a white PS Vita system, a 4 GB memory card, and Assassin’s Creed 3: Libreration on card.
Assassin’s Creed III, scheduled for release in late October, is now available to pre-order from the PlayStation Store as a digital download. If you pre-order via the Store, you will receive an exclusive single-player mission “A Dangerous Secret,” where you’ll fight against a secret that could jeopardize the founding of the revolution.
As a special bonus for PlayStation Assassins, Ubisoft are including exclusive unlockable content for Assassin’s Creed III, available only on the PlayStation 3. Just for choosing to play Assassin’s Creed III on the PS3, you’ll be able to download four additional single-player missions at launch.
