Just in from the Game Developers Conference 2010 in San Francisco, Sony has revealed the official name for the Motion Controller, and guess what, it’s not called the Arc! Instead, the device has been named as PlayStation Move.

Race Driver: GRID Reloaded Announced For PS3
Codemasters has announced Race Driver: GRID Reloaded – a premium platinum edition of the award winning Race Driver: GRID – which will include the original game and two DLC codes enabling players to download over £10 worth of new content.
Sony’s Surprise Sequel Is SOCOM 4
A sequel to the popular franchise SOCOM has just been announced by Sony. Developed from the ground up for the PlayStation 3 by Zipper Interactive, the original developers of the SOCOM series, players will be treated to a single player campaign and a multiplayer mode for up to 32 gamers.
Sony Announces FirstPlay – SCEE’s Answer to Qore
Future and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe have today announced the launch of FirstPlay – Europe’s answer to Qore and the first HD interactive show for gamers, exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and available to those living in Europe. Like Qore, FirstPlay aims to bring gamers HD reviews of previews of the latest games and content, including exclusive PSN downloads. FirstPlay will have it’s own unique menu system and interface – different to that of Qore.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Announced
Ubisoft has announced Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, the fourth mainline entry in the Tom Clancy endorsed tactical shooter series, which will head to several consoles including the PS3 and Xbox 360 by the end of the year. Ubisoft’s Paris studios will be taking care of development, but details about the game’s story were not revealed. The press release promises it will “go beyond the core Ghost Recon franchise and deliver a fresh gameplay experience.”
Special Final Fantasy XIII Announcement Coming This Friday
On Friday 13th November, Square-Enix has a special announcement in store for you. Yoshinori Kitase, producer of Final Fantasy XIII, will reveal the announcement on the PlayStation.Blog on behalf of the development team. No details on the announcement has been revealed, but we hope its about a upcoming playable demo of the game or details on possible DLC.
