Sony Announces Next Generation Portable Entertainment System
As the rumors suggested, Sony has announced the next iteration of its portable PlayStation Console. Codenamed NGP, for Next Generation Portable, the console is designed to offer unparalleled interactive entertainment that is only possible on PlayStation. This new system offers a revolutionary combination of rich gaming and social connectivity within a real world context, made possible by leveraging SCE’s experience from both PSP and PS3.
PlayStation Phone Announcement Expected in February 2011
If you are looking to get hold of a new PlayStation Handheld, you can expect the PlayStation Phone to be announced in February next year. Rumors suggest the phone will be announced in February, followed by a launch in April. In the meantime Sony has trademarked several names in relation to “mobile phones and accessories for mobile phones.”
MotorStorm Apocalypse Announced

Sony have officially announced that Sackboy will be returning to your PS3s in LittleBigPlanet 2. Sony also released the first trailer to LBP2, which you can find below. LittleBigPlanet established the Play, Create, Share creative gaming genre and has enjoyed tremendous success, with well over 2 million levels created since launch and growing by the week.
God of War: Ghost of Sparta Announced For PSP
The PSP will be getting a new God of War title, and is currently being developed by the same studio who developed the original PSP title: Ready At Dawn Studios. Bodycount Officially Unveiled
Codemasters has finally unveiled its first person shooter that is in the works, titled Bodycount. Being headed up by Stuart Black, creator of the popular PS2 shooter Black, the game has been described as a “genre-defining” experience. Bold words indeed from the same man who called current FPS games as “F***ing boring”.
