DRIVECLUB launches in Europe and the UK later this week, with the European version out on the October 8th followed by the UK version on October 10th. A minified version of the game will be free to PlayStation Plus subscribers, and PlayStation Access have detailed the content of this version in a handy short video (below). Upgrading the PS+ version to the full version will cost you £34.99 / €39.99, which is £15 cheaper than the digital version from the PlayStation Store.
Another new video from PlayStation Access has been released today, with Community Manager Hollie Bennett (@HollieB) giving you a close-up of the console, the DualShock 4 controller and the PlayStation Camera. The video shows how shiny one side of the console is, which wasn’t completely clear in the early photos of the console.
Once again, PlayStation Access have created a useful Q&A video answering 10 questions about the upcoming console, revealing some new information about the PS4. The video reveals new details on some of the PS4’s features, like party chat and increased friends list. It also clarifies some older points, like DualShock 3 support and PlayStation Move compatibility, and 3D games.
PlayStation Access has kindly done a comparison between the PS4 and the launch PS3 console, to show you exactly how the two compare in size and shape. It’s pretty obvious that the PS4 is much smaller than the PS3, but this video clearly shows just how great the difference is. Now, all we need is a comparison with the PS3 Slim and PS3 “Super” Slim models.
Christmas is over but Access TV is back for one last episode before we enter the New Year. In episode 15 there’s a bumper preview of 2012?s hottest PS3 titles, including Mass Effect 3, BioShock Infinite and Grand Theft Auto V. As always there’s a glossy HD roundup of the biggest PS3 news and best PlayStation Store content, which this week includes a developer going slightly crazy in a Joker mask.

There’s more sporty goodness in the form of the GT Academy as Access goes behind the scenes to check out the inner workings of the academy.
You can now view Episode 8 of Access online. This week, the Game of the Week is THQ’s open-world gang ‘em up, Saints Row: The Third. Then make sure you check out some of PS3‘s most current blockbusters, including Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and Street Fighter X Tekken.

This week’s episode features a look at The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in the Game of the Week feature, complete with gorgeous new footage.
