Sony has finally beefed up security on the PlayStation Network by introducing 2-Step Verification (2SV). Users can opt-in to 2SV to add an additional layer of security to their PSN Account. If you’re unfamiliar with 2SV, it’s basically a two step process that uses SMS to send time-limited, unique codes to your mobile to confirm your identity. This means that anyone trying to access your account would need to know your email / password, and have access to your mobile device.
