If your PlayStation 3 fails to read games or Blu-Ray discs it could be because of a number of reasons (see below). There are only a few options you can try from home to resolve the issue, but the worst case scenario involves sending it off to Sony to get it repaired (which will cost you money). Before you send it off to Sony, follow this guide and try to resolve the issue yourself.
Fat Princess is a PSN title containing 21 trophies in total. Surprisingly, all of the unlockable trophies are bronze. The aim of the game is to rescue your beloved princess through teamwork. But there’s a catch – the other team has been feeding her magical cake, making her harder to escort back to your castle.Fat Princess is a one-player title supporting up to 32 players online. This week, inFamous costumes will be available to purchase from the PlayStation Store for LittleBigPlanet. You will be able to dress up your Sackboy to look like the Cole MacGrath, whether you are feeling evil or nice. No prices have been mentioned for the SackCole costumes yet. Fat Princess will make her royal appearance on the PlayStation Network this Thursday, July 30th for $14.99 / £11.99. The game will be released simultaneously worldwide in N. This week on the PlayStation Video Store, Sony has put together a collection of movies, TV shows, exclusives and specials, all inspired by the sold-out Comic-Con. You can download the trailer to Green Lantern: First Flight and purchase or rent the feature film from July 28th 2009. As for this week’s top movie downloads, Watchmen is on top, followed by Knowing and Push.
Next week the PlayStation Network will be going offline for some scheduled maintenance, specifically on July 28th and 29th. The PSN will be inaccessible between 5:00AM BST and 8:30AM BST on Tuesday, 28th July and between 5:00AM BST and 9:00AM BST on Wednesday, 29th July. During the maintenance window you will be unable to sign-in, and if you are already signed-in during this period you might get randomly signed-out.
It’s a big update to the PlayStation Store this week with the release of WipEout Fury expansion pack and the new Killzone 2 Napalm & Cordite map pack. Both packs are available to download from the European and US stores. The US Store has some new PSOne classics available as well as a selection of premium XMB themes. New downloadable games include Shatter, available from both stores, and Crystal Defenders, available only on the Euro store.

The WipEout HD expansion pack, Fury, will be available to download after tomorrows PlayStation Store update. To prepare the game for the new features, a patch for the game is now available to download. The patch is 109MB in size and include a redesigned interface, new community functionality and some changes to the single and multiplayer game modes.
