In need of another Uncharted 2: Among Thieves fix? We’ve got a new trailer for you to watch – the one that was shown during Sony’s GamesCom Press Conference. The footage in the trailer is generated directly from the Naughty Dog 2.0 engine. After the trailer to there is a short interview between Naughty Dog’s Arne Meyer and PlayStation.Blog’s Chris Morell, in which they talk about the single-player campaign.
Yesterday at GamesCom 2009, Sony announced the Digital Comic Store for the PSP. The new service will allow PSP owners to access a range of media on their PSP. The digital reader service will be launched with Digital Comics this December in select countries, including the U.S and regions in Europe. Following Sony’s GamesCom Press Conference yesterday, new content has been uploaded to the PlayStation Store. You will find over 10 new game trailers added to the Store, including the PSP MinisTrailer, and PlayStation Network Digital Comics Trailer. Check out the list of new trailers below.
A 250GB PlayStation 3 Slim console has been discovered on the FCC site. The new model, CECH-2000B, is different to the model announced yesterday at GamesCom, which is model number CECH-2000A. The only difference we can see is that it features a bigger hard drive than the model coming out in September.

Have you pre-ordered your PSP Go! yet? Sony has announced that gamers who register their PSP Go! during the launch week will each receive a free digital copy of Gran Turismo for PSP. Andrew House (CEO of SCEE) announced at GamesCom that registering your PSP Go! between the 1st and 10th of October will get you a free downloadable copy of the game.
Sony has announced that the PSP will be getting new ‘mini’ titles this year, with the launch of the PSP Go! in October. The announcement was made earlier today at their GamesCom Press Conference. “Minis” is new section on PlayStation Store that offers a range of all-new downloadable games for PSP. Available exclusively via digital distribution, “minis” will have a 100MB size limit.
