Gran Turismo Free For Early PSPgo Buyers
At GamesCom Sony announced that early adopters would get a free copy of Gran Turismo PSP within the first 10 days of launch. We now have more details about the promotion to share with you. First of all, you will need to be in a participating country and have a PlayStation Store account. Once you login into the PlayStation Network on your PSPgo, proceed to the PlayStation Store and download the Gran Turismo XMB theme and you will automatically receive your voucher code via email.
Uncharted 2 Multiplayer Demo Now Open To All
Naughty Dog announced today that the multiplayer demo will be available for everyone to download on the PlayStation Store starting at 11 a.m. PST / 7pm BST. The demo has been available to those who pre-ordered the game for a few weeks now, and will continue until October 12th. Once the retail version of the game is released, all stats from the Beta server will be reset.
Square-Enix Hopes to Sell Over 6 Million Copies of Final Fantasy XIII
Square Enix is expecting high sales on their upcoming title, Final Fantasy XIII. The company is expecting global sales of over six million units, according to company CEO and president, Yoichi Wada. The executive hopes that the mammoth RPG outing will trump worldwide shipments of Square’s highly successful Dragon Quest IX, which hit Nintendo DS in Japan back in July of this year.
Naughty Dog Disables Some Twitter Functionality in Uncharted 2
If you don’t already know, Naughty Dog’s new title Uncharted 2: Among Thieves supports the micro-blogging network Twitter. Completing chapters, and playing multiplayer games posts ‘tweets’ to your Twitter account, allow your friends to follow your activity within the game. Some reviewers have had early access to the game and selected the option to update their Twitter accounts as they completed each chapter of the game. This has resulted in some Twitter feeds being updated multiple times an hour.
Gran Turismo 6 Development Will Be Faster Than GT5
Speaking with Joystiq in Japan last week, Kazunori Yamauchi, CEO of Polyphony Digital, admitted that development of Gran Turismo 6 will not be as maddeningly long as Gran Turismo 5’s. Yamauchi said :”GT5 is a title that was pretty much remade from scratch, but because we did that, the next version is actually going to be faster — the time period it’s going to be released.”

If you are wondering what your new PSPgo will look like on the inside, save yourself some trouble and watch the guys at iFixIt rip their PSPgo apart. After ripping the PSP piece by piece, the team discovers some interesting components used in the new PSP. The game CPU and Wi-Fi chip from the old PSP is being used, which means no major speed boosts and still no 802.11 g/n support.

PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe Coming This Thursday
PixelJunk Monsters will be available to download this week to coincide with the launch of the PSPgo. PixelJunk Monsters was originally released on the PlayStation 3, but allowed Remote Play to the PSP. This PSP Deluxe version of PixelJunk Monsters features all of the content of the original game and the Encore add-on pack as well as additional content and extra goodies to give even previous PixelJunk Monsters players new dangers to dance down.
