This Thursday November 12th, Braid descends upon the PlayStation Network. Braid is a platform/puzzle game, originally released on August 6, 2008 on Xbox Live Arcade, and is now coming to the PS3. The enigmatic story describes the attempt of a man named Tim to rescue a princess from a monster. The game features traditional aspects of the platform genre; the player runs, jumps, and climbs through a linear set of stages, while solving puzzles and defeating enemies.
Killzone 2 Soundtrack Released On iTunes
Can’t get enough of Killzone 2 on your PS3? Now you can download the entire sountrack to take with you on your iPod (or other MP3 compatible device). The full album contains 29 tracks, with a total playing time of 74 minutes. Performed by the Nimrod Session Orchestra and recorded at the world-famous Abbey Road Studios in London, England, these thunderous tracks are guaranteed to give even the toughest Helghast trooper goose bumps. PlayStation Network Maintenance Today
The PlayStation Network will be down this morning for scheduled maintenance. The PSN will be unavailable from 8:00am GMT until 11:00am GMT. As usual, you may experience issues connecting to the PlayStation Network, though the PlayStation Community Team Leader, MusterBuster, notes that “users will be affected for only 15 minutes during this period.”
Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time Patch Incoming
A patch for A Crack in Time is expected shortly to correct a issue in the game. According to James Stevenson of Insomniac Games at the NeoGAF forum, the update will fix a bug that will cause a challenge mode game in progress to suddenly revert into a regular game. No exact release date for the patch was given, however. The game was released in North America in late October and recently came out in Europe earlier this month.
eLoader for PSPgo In Development
Remember that video of the PSPgo running homebrew a while back? (If no, see below). FreePlay was able to run some custom code on the PSPgo just days after launch, making use of a known exploit that was still present in the new firmware update. According to his latest progress update, FreePlay is now working on a eLoader for the PSPgo. If all goes well, we could see a PSPgo eLoader, allowing you to load your own homebrew applications and games on the PSPgo.
First Blu-Ray to Include PS3/PSP Digital Copy Available This Week
Its been almost two years since Blu-Ray Digital Copy was first announced, back at the Consumer Electronics Show in 2008. Finally, the first Blu-Ray movie to include exclusive PSP and PS3 digital copy will be available this week in the US. Some earlier movies, including Watchmen, have included a digital copy with the purchase of a Blu-Ray movie, but either require you to download the movie from the Internet or are on a disc not readable by the PS3. The Ugly Truth, on the other hand, is the first to have a PSP/PS3 compatible digital copy on the disc.

LittleBigPlanet Updated to v1.20
A new patch for LittleBigPlanet is now available to download. Dubbed “Celtic Promise“, the patch is 23mb in size and adds support for upcoming downloadable content. No other details about the patch were revealed, except that the next patch v1.21, named “Leerdammer“, will add new features to the title.

PlayStation Store Update for Nov 5th 2009
This week on the PSP PlayStation Store, more games have a price promotion on the European Store and several new downloadable titles have been added to the US Store, including Numblast and Ghostbusters The Video Game. A new PSP Minis title is available for download from the European Store as well as a PSOne classic. A new episode of PULSE is out now on the US Store, along with a selection of free and premium XMB themes.
