A new patch is now available to download for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The patch fixes the PlayStation 3 invite problems that have been happening since the game launched earlier this week. Robert Bowling, Director of Communications and Community Manager for Infinity Ward, announced the release of the patch on twitter, saying “invites on PSN are good to go now.”
adhocParty for PSP Available Soon
Great news for all of you Ad Hoc fans out there –adhocParty for the PSP system, which first launched in Japan last year, is coming to North America! AdhocParty is an online service that allows PSP owners with a PS3 system to connect to one another via the PlayStation Network. It will be available as a free download on the PlayStation Store soon.
Facebook Confirmed for PS3
A source close to Sony has told Eurogamer that yes, Facebook is heading to PS3. The images of the service that appeared on the PlayStation website earlier this week, were posted by mistake and later taken down. The official Sony UK PR line is that there will be more information on this “very shortly”.
PlayStation Video Store Update for Nov 13th 2009

Final Fantasy XIII Gets EU / US Release Date
Remember that promise of a big announcement from Square-Enix earlier this week? Well, it wasn’t that big of an announcement after all. A “never before seen” footage of the game is now available to view in PlayStation Home, giving you further insight into the game. Along with the new video, Square-Enix has also confirmed the western release date for the game. Final Fantasy XIII will hit Europe and North America on March 9th 2010.

This week on the PSP PlayStation Store, three new games are available to download from the European PlayStation Store, and five are available from the US Store. Both stores have received new PSP Minis titles too – three for Europe and one for the US. PlayStation Store Update for Nov 12th 2009
This week on the PlayStation Store, there are a number of new games and demos available on the US Store. Unfortunately, the European Store only has a number of new DLC, game videos and a few new premium themes. Braid is now available to purchase from the US Store as well as Star Trek: D-A-C. New downloadable content includes new packs for PAIN, two new characters for Rag Doll Kung Fu, and track for Guitar Hero and Rock Band.

God of War Collection Trophy Walkthrough
With the launch of God of War Collection only a week away, the developers have posted a video on how to earn one of the more difficult trophies in the game, ‘15 Min Fight Scene.’ To earn this gold trophy, you have to battle your way to the Loom Chamber in God of War II in under 10 minutes. Stephen Peterson, Lead QA Tester on God of War II and a Camera Designer on God of War III, does a speed run while giving out as many tips as he can. After playing the game a hundred or so times as a tester, he makes it look easy.
Special Final Fantasy XIII Announcement Coming This Friday
On Friday 13th November, Square-Enix has a special announcement in store for you. Yoshinori Kitase, producer of Final Fantasy XIII, will reveal the announcement on the PlayStation.Blog on behalf of the development team. No details on the announcement has been revealed, but we hope its about a upcoming playable demo of the game or details on possible DLC.
