Just when you were recovering from the awesomeness that was Batman: Arkham Asylum, it has been announced that a sequel is on the way in 2010. Rocksteady are bringing the Dark Knight back to our consoles and if it is anything like what we experienced this year with the original then we are in for a treat. Oh and the Joker is back too, looking crazier than ever! Arkham has moved folks, check out the announcement trailer below.
Modern Warfare 2 Patch v1.06
As promised by Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling, Modern Warfare 2 patch v1.06 is now available to download. While the patch fixes a whole bunch of glitches and bugs, there are still many unfixed issues in the game. Two of the biggest bugs, commonly called the “javelin glitch” and the “care package glitch”, are fixed with this latest patch.
PlayStation Video Store Update For Dec 11th 2009

This week on the PlayStation Video Store, there are 10 new movies available to download from the UK Video Store, and a whole load of new movies and TV content from the US Store. You can download Outer Space Astronauts S1 – Diplomatic Hat and the Salt Theatrical Trailer for free from the US Store.

God of War III Status Update

On Tuesday, SCEA and a number of their publishing partners (2K, Capcom, EA, SEGA, and Square-Enix) filled a SoHo art gallery with many of the best games you’ll be playing in early 2010. Before things kicked off, Sony Santa Monica Studios’ Director of Development John Hight showed off a brand new scene from God of War III. Unfortunately, Sony won’t be making the video public until January. In the mean time, check out the update video below.
PlayStation Store Update for Dec 10th 2009

This week on the PSP PlayStation Store a number of new games are available from the European Store, including Tekken 6 and Avatar. Three Metal Gear Solid titles are also available for download too. The US Store has a number of new titles too, including Silent Hill: Origins, and the two Death Jr. titles. Five new Minis titles are available on the European Store and two new titles on the US Store. Check out the complete list below.
PlayStation Store Update for Dec 10th 2009

This week on the PlayStation Store, Call of Duty Classic is available to download from the European Store. On the US Store, PixelJunk Shooter is now available to download along with other new titles. There are three new playable demos on the US Store and one new one on the European Store. In addition, both stores have a Uncharted The Eye of Indra Skins and Comics Bundle, giving you two multiplayer skins for Uncharted 2 and all four episodes of the motion comic.
MAG Beta Statistics

The MAG Beta is now over, after running for the past few months. With the end of the Beta, the only thing left to look forward to is the launch of the game on January 26th 2010. The official box art for North America has been revealed (see below) as well as some statistics from the beta. In short, over 42,000 matches were played during the beta test. Between November 9th and December 5th, over 65,000 players logged on, making almost 18 million kills. See the full statistics below.
SOCOM: Confrontation Patch v1.60 Available Now

The latest patch for SOCOM: Confrontation contains a massive amount of new content and features, and is completely free to download. Patch v1.60 adds The Dutch KCT and Italian COMSUBIN Special Forces teams, two new primary weapons for the new Special Force teams above and four new weapons including the 9mm Sub Machine Gun, M82A1A, AK-74 and SR-25. In addition to the new characters and weapons, the team has also added 100% Random Medleys to the patch update.
Darksiders Pre-Order Offers

Sony has revealed exclusive pre-orders items for Darksiders in the UK, which include PlayStation Home outfits, in-game weapons, comic book and more. The War costume, worn by the horseman in the game, will be exclusive with pre-orders from Play.com. Another PlayStation Home item, the Ruin mask, is exclusive with pre-orders from Amazon.
