The God of War III Trilogy is coming to Europe, Australia and New Zealand, but in limited quantities. Pricing and exact release details to be confirmed in the next few weeks so stay tuned. This very special edition will come in a high-end, sculpted replica of Pandora’s Box and will include the God of War collection and God of War III, in addition to other other extras.
PlayStation Video Store Update for Dec 18th 2009

PSP PlayStation Store Update for Dec 17th 2009
On the PSP Store this week, the Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker demo is now available to download in both Europe and the US. A number of titles have been reduced permanently on the European store so go and grab yourself a bargain. The US Store also has a selection of new PSP XMB Themes and game videos for you to enjoy. These bite-size games are the ideal companion for your PSP and now, PS3 owners can enjoy these bite-sized downloadable games in the comfort of their living room. One purchase will allow you to the download to both your PSP and PS3, giving you the option to play whenever and wherever you like.
Final Fantasy XIV Beta Registration Now Open
If you are a fan of Final Fantasy and love beta testing new games, we have some good news for you. The Final Fantasy XIV Beta Registration page is now open. You can sign-up to take part in either the PlayStation 3 or PC beta trial, and need to fill out a long registration form as well as sign-up for a Square-Enix account. The beta will run in multiple phases, with the total number of participants increasing each time. Unfortunately, the start date for the beta is currently unknown.
Digital Comics Service Now Live
Earlier today, the Digital Comics Service launched in UK, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa! You can choose your favourite comics from hundreds of new and classic collections in Comic Store of PlayStation Store, and take hundreds of comics on your PSP anywhere you go. Choose from the battling superheroes of Marvel, including Spider-man, X-Men and the Fantastic Four, to Disney’s Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.
PlayStation Home Gets Big Update This Week
Tomorrow, PlayStation Home gets a massive update, including three new spaces and a bevy of brand new items. First up, we have a brand new SCEE event coming to you tomorrow themed around the awesome retro PSN shooter Gravity Crash, aptly titled: Gravity Crash: Maze to the Mothership! Also, the first wave of LittleBigPlanet content hits Home with a set of new clothes and branded furniture.
Army of Two: The 40th Day Available This Week
Spenser Norrish, the Community Coordinator for Army of Two, announced the release of the Army of Two: The 40th Day demo earlier today. The demo will be available as a free download via the PlayStation Network on December 17th for the PS3 and on January 14th for the PSP. The PS3 demo includes most of the first level in the game, where the iconic two-man private military team of Salem and Rios find themselves trapped in Shanghai as it falls under attack.
