A group of hackers over at the haxnetwork are claiming that they have successfully discovered a method that will allow you to boot back-up copies of PS3 Blu-Ray games using MotorStorm. Whether or not the exploit actually work remains to be seen. Naturally, Sony won’t be too happy to see their un-hackable console finally being exploited to run illegal copies of games.
VidZone Hits 2 Million Downloads Milestone

VidZone has hit another major milestone since it was launched back in June 2009. Its taken VidZone exactly five months to rack up another million downloads, bringing the total to over 2 million downloads in total. VidZone is “officially the biggest dedicated music video streaming application in the world”, according to Ben Creasy, Head of Production for VidZone.
Dark Void Demo Available This Week

The first PlayStation Store update of 2010 will feature the Dark Void demo from Capcom. The playable demo will be available on the PlayStation Store from January 7th 2010 will the full game scheduled for release later this month, on January 22nd 2010. The demo will give you a fantastic introduction to the game and is a great cross section of the broad experience you’ll get in the full game.
Salem & Rios Cause Havoc In London In New Army of Two: The 40th Day Trailer

The heroes of Army of Two: The 40th Day Salem & Rios have come to London from their home in Montreal to help promote the launch of their brand new video game. The pair’s antics, captured in a new trailer released today, show Salem and Rios speaking with BBC 1Xtra’s Rampage Crew – Mike Anthony and Treble T – getting Kara Tointon to do their make-up, signing copies of the game for fans (including The Inbetweeners star and robot dance maestro Blake Harrison), rocking out with music act Pint Shot Riot, and generally creating havoc all over the city. Uncharted 2 Likely To Get More Co-Op Gameplay

Uncharted 2’s co-op multiplayer missions are certainly popular among players, and its likely that Naughty Dog will be expanding the available missions. Speaking with G4, Naughty Dog’s Evan Wells has said “So for future DLC, could we add more co-op? Probably more in the arena-style type of gameplay, like our Survival and our Gold Rush modes.”

Sony Working On Multi-Core Design For PS4

Although the PlayStation 3 has a 10-year lifespan, Sony is already moving forward with the PlayStation 4. According to insider info (along with some speculation), Japanese website PC Watch Impress is reporting that Sony is looking to alternatives to the PS3’s Cell architecture, which some developers have found to be challenging. One early alternative include Cell and Intel’s Larrabee. Wanting a bit more horsepower, Sony has apparently abandoned this plan.
