Sony Europe has declared that February is ‘minis’ month. Over the next 28 days, Sony will be giving away goodies, holding competitions and offers celebrating minis! You’ll find details of everything on the PlayStation Blog, which will feature minis news, offers, free downloads and previews regularly throughout minis month. To kick things off, a number of minis titles have been discounted, starting February 4th 2010 until February 18th 2010.
The Tester Coming to PSN This Month

The Tester is an original competitive reality series for PlayStation fans, it is a program for gamers, about gamers who are competing to win a job as a game tester on PlayStation’s first party development team – the team that has introduced history-making franchises such as God of War, Uncharted, LittleBigPlanet and Gran Turismo. The first episode will be available to download from the PlayStation Store on February 18th 2010, for free.
Heavy Rain Will Require HDD Install

If you are looking to get Heavy Rain when it comes out later this money, start preparing your hard drive now. Heavy Rain will require a hard drive install of at least 4GB of data before you can play the game, which will take a few minutes of your time. While the game data is installed, you can pass the time by following the the on-screen instructions on how to make your own Swan Origami.
Modern Warfare Patch v1.08 Causing Problems

Patch v1.08 is now available to download for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in Europe. The patch contains fixes for the care package and the Elevator glitches as well as the 10th prestige glitch hack. A US patch is currently in the certification process and should be available soon.
White Knight Chronicles Trophy List

The trophy list for White Knight Chronicles: International Edition has been revealed, containing a total of 24 trophies. The game has 8 Bronze, 7 Silver, 8 Gold, and of course the coveted Platinum trophy. The platinum trophy doesn’t seem impossible to obtain, but will take some time and dedication.
US PlayStation Video Store Update for Jan 29th 2010

This week on the US PlayStation Store, you will fine new movies like Surrogates, Saw VI, Whip It, and Michael Jackson’s This is It, and a free episode of Naoki Urasawa’s Monster (available through 2/9). Other new free content includes a PSN exclusive clop of Michael Jackson’s This is It and The Bannen Way: Part 8: The Sex Party.
How long does the PSPgo battery last?
The battery life is equivalent with the current models meaning approximately 3 to 6 hours for gameplays and approximately 3 to 5 hours for playing back videos. Unfortunately, the battery cannot be changes so when it looses its life, Sony would need to replace the battery for you.
Final Fantasy VII and VIII Are Top Downloaded PSN Titles

If Square Enix was looking for a reason to remake the PSOne Classic Final Fantasy VII for the PS3, they’ve now got one. Final Fantasy VII and VIII were the top 2 most downloaded games on the North American PlayStation Store this week. FFVIII has taken the number one spot for the first time since it was released, followed by FFVII in second place.
New Borderlands DLC Announced

Gearbox Software and 2K Games have revealed the name and details for the third DLC expansion to Borderlands. Called The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, the new content is pitched as having “never-before-seen enemies in a huge new environment complete with tons of brand new missions.” JoyStiq have reported that new weapons and items are also promised in the DLC.
Final Fantasy XIII DLC Confirmed

Back in December, Square Enix hinted that downloadable content was being considered for Final Fantasy XIII. Now, a new quote from producer Yoshinori Kitase has somewhat confirmed the inevitability of extra content for the huge RPG. Kitase says, “We did prepare DLC but it will arrive a little later in the west.” The nature of the DLC content or Japanese release dates were not revealed.
