At the Interactive Achievement Awards last week, Naughty Dog snapped up more awards for their amazing title Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The title won ten awards including Overall Game of the Year. The AIAS Awards, like the Academy Award for movies, is chosen and voted by the professional game developer community.
New PS3 XMB Wallpapers Added

It’s been a while since we last updated our XMB Wallpaper section on the website. Today, we’ve added over 180 new Game Wallpapers to our collection, bringing our collection of gaming wallpapers to just over 650. We’ve added lots of new wallpapers for some of the latest games including Assassin’s Creed II, Final Fantasy XIII and more.
Bioshock 2 Review

The original Bioshock was a massive hit upon its release in 2007, critics and gamers alike adored it. On its surface it seemed like “another FPS” but delve a little deeper and you soon realised it was much more than that. It was all about the combination of the first person gameplay with the stunning world called Rapture. With its brilliant art deco style, this destroyed underwater utopia was the setting for one fantastic rollercoaster ride of a story. The eerie atmosphere combined with some great twist and turns kept players engrossed right until the end.
Army of Two: The 40th Day DLC Announced

Get ready to cause more havoc in Shanghai with Salem & Rios in Army of Two: The 40th Day. The pack, titled Chapters of Deceit, will feature two new co-op campaign maps in which players stumble upon information that could “lead to ending the invasion by Jonah and his 40th Day Initiative army,” says EA.
Sony Admits PSPgo Was Too Expensive

The PSPgo hasn’t had much success since it was launched last October and Sony admits the lack of success too. While the PSPgo is smaller and faster than the older PSP models and includes 16GB of internal flash storage, the models hasn’t sold well, mainly due to the high retail price. “I think the higher price point didn’t help matters,” says Rob Dyer, Sony’s Senior Vice President of Publisher Relations.
Two New PS3 Slim Models Expected

According to new paperwork filed with the FCC, Sony is looking to launch two new PS3 slim models. The new models, CECH-2101A and CECH-2101B, filed by Sony’s pseudonym company Sand Dollar Enterprise, has similar components to the existing slim model including the same Bluetooth and Wifi components.

VidZone Update for Feb 23rd 2010

This week, VidZone has been updated with lots of new videos including Art vs Science, DJ Zinc ft Ms Dynamite, Shakira and Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip. Lemar is the Artist of the Month for the UK and Ireland, Tété in France, George Michael in Australia and New Zealand, and Pitbull in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg.
No HD Install Required for God of War III

God of War III, due out next month, is one of few games this year that will not require installing game data to the hard drive. The announcement was made by Christoper Ericson, Santa Monica Director of Technology, over twitter stating “God of War III does NOT do a HD install. The 5MB listed on box back is for save game only.”
Heavy Rain Banned in UAE

One of the biggest exclusive title this year, Heavy Rain, has been banned in the Middle East. Sony has confirmed that the title has been banned in the United Arab Emirates due as the game presumably containing nudity and mature content. Sony released a statement to Kotaku earlier today, though specifics were not mentioned.
