New downloadable games are available from both stores, including SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3 – in total, Europe has four new downloadable games and the US has two. New DLC is available for LittleBigPlanet and other games from the store too.

PlayStation Store Update for Feb 18th 2010
This week on the PlayStation Store, three new demos are available to download in Europe and two new downloadable games. New premium avatars are also available from both stores. The US has received two new demos as well as the first episode of The Tester. Both stores have a huge selection of new game add-on content including the second DLC for Assassin’s Creed II.
Rumor Alert: Nunchuck Coming to PS3 Motion Controller
According to the latest rumors, Sony is also working on a nunchuck attachment for the motion controller. Sony’s Arc / Gem controller is rumored to be arriving in two wireless parts: the glowing stick we’ve seen before and a “nunchuck” that will feature a number of buttons, including an analogue stick, Square, Circle and even L1 and R1.
Star Wars and Indiana Jones Come to PlayStation Home
While Europe gets the LocoRoco Island and MotorStorm Spaces this week, the US has it’s own set of new content available in PlayStation Home. The US is also getting the same two game spaces in addition to great new content. You can pick up full Star Wars gear from the Mall, including lightsabers, Stormtrooper costumes, and more.
Digital Comics Update for Feb 18th 2010
This week on the PSP Comics Store, new comics have been released including Venom vs Carnage (#1-#4) and the phenomenal X-23: Target X series from 2007 (#1-#6). Motion Controller Called “Gem” By Disney
The Motion Controller has been called Gem once again. This time, by Steve Wadsworth, President of Disney Interactive Media Group, at the 2010 DICE Summit. Wadsworth started out showing a highlight reel of Disney games, including titles such as Pure, Split Second, and the upcoming Toy Story 3 game.
PlayStation Home Update Brings LocoRoco Personal Space
This week on PlayStation Home, a number of new spaces become available including the Loco Island personal space and brand new Mui Mui Ship public space, along with the MotorStorm Carrier. The MotorStorm carrier is a decommissioned aircraft Carrier and comes complete with a number of mini-games, quests and funky rewards.
Sony Introduces New DRM To Combat PSP Piracy
With the release of SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3, Sony has introduced a new security feature in the hopes of combating piracy on the PSP. In SCEA’s new initiative, those who will purchase the game are now required to register the title through PlayStation Network before given access to online gameplay.
