Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced a new version of the Media Go software for the PC, bring the current version to v1.40. The free application allows users to manage their PSP and PSPgo systems as well as access the PlayStation Store to download games, videos and other content.
PS3 Firmware 3.30 Breaking PS3s

If you haven’t updated to Firmware 3.30 yet, you may want to hold off. Problems have been reported by users after upgrading to the latest version, complaining that their PS3s have become useless. The main reported problems are that the systems no longer read any form of disc, thus making gaming and watching movies an impossibility.

God of War 3 Tops 2 Million In Sales

According to the latest sales data from VGChartz, God of War 3 has already sold over 2 million copies in five weeks since release. God of War III joins the other PlayStation 3 exclusives to break the 2 million mark, including Uncharted 2, LittleBigPlanet and Resistance. In addition, SOCOM: Confrontation has finally broken the 1 million mark.
Sony Updates Terms of Service and User Agreement

With the release of Firmware 3.30 today, Sony has also updated the Terms of Service and the End-User License Agreement (EULA). One of the main modifications is to the “Maintenance and Upgrades” clause, which allows Sony to automatically change functionality on the PS3 and could “cause a loss of data or content or cause a loss of functionalities or utilities.”

Settings
- You can now select [PC] as an option under [Remote Play Settings] > [Register Device]. When you select this option, you will be able to use the remote play feature to operate your PS3 system from future models of the VAIO PC. Details of this feature will be announced on the official VAIO website at vaio.eu/playstation in May 2010.
- [Bitstream (Direct)] and [Bitstream (Mix)] have been added as options under [Video Settings] > [BD Audio Output Format (Optical Digital)].
- 3D stereoscopic games are now supported. At the time of the system software release, there are no 3D stereoscopic games available for the PlayStation 3 system. The release of 3D stereoscopic games will be announced at a later date. If the TV in use supports 3D stereoscopic display, the screen from which you can set the TV size will be displayed when adjusting the video output settings. Follow the on-screen instructions to adjust the settings.
Game
- You can now sort your trophies by the game title or by the date earned.
- Names of trophies that you have not yet earned are now displayed as [Hidden Trophy] instead of [???].
VidZone Launches ‘VidZone TV’

Less than a year since VidZone launched on June 11 2009, the team are extremely excited to announce VidZone TV. VidZone has racked up over 3 million users since it was released, with over 350 million videos streamed. The new addition, VidZone TV, features over 100 music TV channels all of which can be played back on demand.
Digital Comics Update for April 22nd 2010

Last week’s release of the Kick Ass comics proved hugely popular on the Comic Store. This week, you can find Brian Michael Bendis’ Eisner Award winning “Powers”. From IDW we see the start of a new series “Dead, She Said”, written by Steve Niles and drawn by industry legend Bernie Wrightson, the series follows Detective Coogan who wakes up dead one morning and then sets out to find his murderer.
MAG Getting Free DLC on April 29th 2010

Make sure you mark April 29th on the calendar. The 256-player online game MAG will be getting free DLC on the 29th, known as the “Fast Attack” Gear Pack. The free DLC pack adds three brand new Special Edition Sniper Rifles that include a number of performance adjustments and visual variations to the already-popular long-range weapons.
PlayStation Store Update for April 22nd 2010

This week on the PSP Store, a number of games have been reduced on the European store. On both stores there are a number of new downloadable games available for purchase and new minis titles – the US has five new minis titles available for purchase. Both stores has some new XMB themes and a selection of videos too. Check out the list of new content below.
