This week on the US PlayStation Store you can find more PlayStation Plus updates including new avatars and Minis. Qore Episode 26 is also available to download and two new downloadable games are also available for purchase. You can also find lots of new downloadable content, new avatars, new themes and wallpaper.
Developers Working On Future Sony Console

Although the next iteration of the PlayStation, be it PS4, hasn’t been announced yet, Sony has confirmed that work is progressing on ‘future platform related activities’. First party developers are helping to design the future PlayStation according to Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida.
White PS3 Heading to Japan

Sony is prepping two new PS3 Slim consoles for the Japanese market. The brand new units will go on sale in Japan on July 29th 2010, featuring 160GB and 320GB hard drives. Both of the units will be available in the standard black but the 160GB will also be available in white, complete with matching DualShock 3 controller.
New Killzone 3 Screens

Eight new Killzone 3 screens have emerged today, though these aren’t in high-definition like the previous set. The new screenshots show more action from the game including more weapons, the snowy environment and the jet packs. Check out the new screens below.
FirstPlay Episode 14 Details

Episode 14 of FirstPlay will be available to download from the PlayStation Store tomorrow and features a review of EA Sports’ Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, and a preview of Enslaved: Odyssey To The West from Ninja Theory. You can also find a review of Green Day: Rock Band.
Hulu Plus Will Not Require PlayStation Plus

When Hulu Plus launches later this month the service will not require PlayStation Plus subscription, as previously thought. Hulu has gone on record and stated that “the PlayStation Plus service is only a requirement during the preview period.” Once the preview period is over, the service will be available to all PS3 users, regardless of subscription status.
Qore Episode 26 Details

The July episode of Qore hits the PlayStation Store later today and features a look at Killzone 3, Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom and the PlayStation Move. Veronica Belmont visits Guerrilla Games and takes a look at the pre-Alpha version of Killzone 3 and speaks to managing director and co-founder Hermen Hulst, and senior producer Steven ter Heide.
The Eye of Judgment Online Service Comes to an End

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced that they will discontinue the online mode for the PlayStation Eye-enabled turn-based card strategy game, The Eye of Judgment. Although the online component will be turned off, the game will still function offline so you can continue to enjoy the game.

US PlayStation Video Store Update for July 2nd 2010

The Video Store is finally available in Canada this week. To celebrate Sony is offering a voucher for a free download of Charlie’s Angels just for visiting the Canada store before July 14th. Vouchers will be mailed out a few days after you visit. While you’re there, you can also find many of the latest Hollywood new releases like She’s Out of My League and Hot Tub Time Machine, plus episodes of some of your favorite TV shows.
