Over the weekend at Comic-Con 2010, the first 2D cutscene from inFamous 2 was revealed. As you may know from the previous title, the comic cutscenes play an important part in the story telling process. As Edward Pun, Senior Artist, says, “It’s time consuming and a lot of hard work [to draw every frame] but, in the end, I hope InFAMOUS 2 will reflect our love for comic books and give fans the experience of being a super powered hero.”

Sony and Media Molecule have announced the official release date for the sackboy sequel, LittleBigPlanet 2. In addition, pre-ordering the game from selected retailers will give gamers exclusive costumes to enjoy in-game. Selected retailers include Amazon, BestBuy, GameStop and more.
MAG Sabotage Mode Now Faction Neutral
Since MAG was released back in January, Zipper Interactive have made many improvements to the game. The latest improvement, and something requested by games, was the ability to play on any map in the game. All the maps in the “Sabotage” game mode are now faction neutral, meaning any faction can play on a map, even if its owned by another faction.
DC Universe Online Comic-Con 2010 Trailer
A new trailer for DC Universe Online will air on GameTrailers TV on Spike TV later tonight at 12:30am PST. The trailer is the world premiere of the “Blur” trailer, giving you a peek at the backstory gamers will experience in the game.We have a teaser trailer of what to expect below.
Netflix Disc-Free Streaming Coming in Next Few Months
Currently, Netflix users require a disc in order to stream TV shows to the PlayStation 3. Over the next few months, Netflix has confirmed that a disc-free solution will be rolled out similar to the Hulu Plus application. The Netflix application will allow dynamic updating of the Netflix library on the PS3 as well as providing bug fixes via patches.

On the European PlayStation Store this week you can find discounts on a number of PSN titles, available until August 4th 2010. You can also find episode 4 of Sam & Max, and two new Minis titles.
