Top Gun Available on PSN Today
Top Gun, the game based on the classic 80’s film, will be available to download from the PlayStation Store later today. The game features 11 campaign missions, a horde mode, and 16 player online multiplayer with five game modes. You can fly in one of six jets including the US Navy’s F-14, F-16, or F/A-18 or the enemy’s MiG-29, MiG-31, or Su-27.
ModNation Racers Breaks 1 Million Creations Mark
In less than three months since ModNations Racers was released, the online community has created and published over 1.1 million items of content. This means there were roughly 633 karts, mods, and tracks published per hour, which equates to roughly 15,000 creations published per day.
European PlayStation Store Update for August 11th 2010
On the European PlayStation Store this week you can find a new downloadable game, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, and two new Minis titles. You can also find the Mafia II playable demo, and lots of new game add-on content. FirstPlay Episode 019 is available to download and two new dynamic themes and several static XMB themes have also been added to the store.
US PlayStation Video Store Update for August 14th 2010
This week on the US and Canadian Video Stores you can find films featuring not-so-ordinary heroes in the Spotlight on The Other Guys collection. The Deal of the Week collection includes hilarious comedies like Meet the Spartans, Epic Movie, Idiocracy, all at limited-time low prices.
New Uncharted 2 Multiplayer Skins and Dynamic Themes Coming Next Week
Naughty Dog is continuing support of the multiplayer community next week by releasing new DLC content for Uncharted 2. On Tuesday, August 17, the Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Sidekick Skins pack will be available for purchase with the PlayStation Store. In addition to multiplayer skins, a new dynamic theme will also be released on the same day (see video below).
European PlayStation Store Update for August 11th 2010
On the PSP Store this week you can find five new downloadable games available to download and two new Minis titles. Not much else has been added to the store unfortunately, except a new game add-on pack for Buzz! Quiz World.
Qore Episode 27 Details
The latest episode of Qore is now available to download from the PlayStation Store. PlayStation Plus subscribers can download episode 27 for free, which features a look at Kane and Lynch: Dog Days, Splatterhouse, and TerRover. In the latest installment of “On the road with Qore,” Veronica visits Kyoto, Japan—home to historic temples and shrines and a world-famous manga museum.

FirstPlay Episode 19 Details
Episode 19 of FirstPlay will be available to download from the PlayStation Store tomorrow. Episode 19 features HD video footage of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. Elsewhere we take a look at the new Medal Of Honor’s multiplayer mode and check out some of the hottest games heading to PS3 in 2011, including Bulletstorm, inFamous 2 and Dead Space 2.
