On February 22, 2011, Killzone 3 will storm store shelves in more ways than one. Guerrilla Games have revealed a limited Helghast Edition of the game in additon to the standard edition. The Killzone 3 Helghast Edition ($129.99) comes with a collectible replica of a Helghast Helmet containing an art book, Super Voucher (see below for contents) and the Killzone 3 game with bonus content.

PlayStation Network will be offline later today for scheduled maintenance from 16:00 until 00:30 on Friday 29 October 2010, BST. Today is the launch of PlayStation Rewards, a new program that recognizes and rewards users for simply doing what they love – playing games and interacting with the entertainment content that PlayStation has to offer. The beta starts today and will be an invitation-only beta to all eligible PlayStation Plus and Gamer Advisory Panel (GAP) members.

Blacklight: Tango Down hits the PlayStation Store later today, and to celebrate its release, Sony have released a brand-new, exclusive gameplay video and a piece of never-before seen concept art. Blacklight is a fast-paced, action-oriented, first-person shooter that takes place in 25 years in the future.
The PSPgo was released just over a year ago and Sony hasn’t been doing to well selling the UMD-less PSPgo, so this news doesn’t come as much of a surprise. Sony Japan has announced a substantial price cut for the portable console today affecting both North America and Japan.
