Can you believe that it’s already been two years since PlayStation Home was first released? PlayStation Home first emerged back in December 2008, starting off as a limited public beta and now having grown to over 17 million users worldwide.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam launches in Europe on December 22nd 2010, and to celebrate, DICE have revealed some of the trophies that you can unlock while playing the game. Below is the complete list of every trophy in the game (these are bronze).
The 37th Episode of FirstPlay hits the UK PlayStation Store this week, bringing you a hands-on preview of Dead Space 2 and an interview with the game’s art director Ian Milham. The BBC iPlayer has enjoyed much success in the UK, sitting on the PS3 XMB for some time. If newspaper The Guardian, is to be believed, the XMB video streaming options are set to expand further this week, adding two new channels: ITV Player and 4OD.
Last weekend the first Uncharted 3 trailer was unveiled at the Video Game Awards in the US. We showed off a teaser trailer ahead of the VGAs but now have a full version for you to watch below. Uncharted 3 will be available to buy on November 1st 2011.
Insomniac Games have released a brand spanking new Resistance 3 trailer, which includes the very first look at some of the stunning new gameplay in this highly anticipated title. The main protagonist in Resistance 3 is Joseph Capelli, the Sentinal who was forced to kill Nathan Hale at the end of R2. Capelli was dishonourably discharged, and four years later is living in hiding with his wife, Susan, and son, Jack, along with other survivors in the town of Haven, Oklahoma.
As of 6 December, more than 5.5 million units of Gran Turismo 5 have been sold worldwide. This remarkable figure has pushed the series past the 60 million units mark since the series first launched on the PlayStation around 12 years and 11 months ago, back in December 1997.
The VGAs are over and once again the game of the year has been chosen. This year, Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption has walked with the ‘Game of the Year’ award, in addition to two other awards: Best Original Score and Best DLC. The list of other winners can be found below.
