You can save screenshots of many screens, including scenes during gameplay, by pressing the PS button and the START button at the same time. You can view the captured screenshots in [Photos].
To take a screenshot, a memory card for the PS Vita system must be inserted in your PS Vita system. Also, it might not be possible to take screenshots in some applications, or in some parts of applications.
Official Statement Regarding PS3 Circumvention Devices And Pirated Software

Yesterday, Sony released an official statement regarding piracy on the PlayStation 3, all as a result of the recent hacking activities that have occurred on the console. In short, consoles running pirated software will be blocked from the PlayStation Network, preventing online gameplay and access to PSN services.
