Updates to PSP System Software and Media Go App
Sony has released a new firmware update for the PSP. Firmware version v6.38 is a minor update that improves the stability of the system software during use of some features. In addition to the new Firmware, Sony has also updated the MediaGo applicaiton for the PC.

White Knight Chronicles II Includes The Original Title
Today, Sony revealed the revealed the packshots for the upcoming White Knight Chronicles II for PS3 and White Knight Chronicles: Origins for PSP. Sony also confirmed that White Knight Chronicles II will include the original White Knight Chronicles on the same Blu-ray disc.
Settlement in George Hotz Case
After the PlayStation 3 was hacked to run custom firmware and unsigned application, Sony decided to sue George Hotz, the person responsible for identifying the hack and distributing it on the Internet. The case has now been closed as Sony and Hotz have reached a settlement decision. A joint statement from both SCEA and Hotz can be found below detailing their decision.
Resistance 3 Multiplayer Demo Coming To PAL PlayStation Plus
The Resistance 3 multiplayer demo is coming exclusively to PlayStation Plus. If you’ve checked out the our previous coverage, you will see that the R3 multiplayer demo will be accessible to SOCOM: Special Forces (aka SOCOM 4) purchasers in North America.
Twisted Metal Launches October 4th 2011
David Jaffe, the co-director and co-lead designer of the new Twisted Metal for PS3, has revealed that the game’s launch date. The game was surprise announcement at last year’s E3 conference in Los Angeles. The game will officially hit stores on October 4th 2011, but until then, check out the new trailer below.
Resistance 3 Public Beta: Get Early Access With SOCOM 4
Everyone loves getting access to Beta titles, so you can be one of the first people in the world to experience a new game. Beta testers will be interested to know that you can get early access to the Resistance 3 beta by picking up a specially marked copy of SOCOM 4. The SOCOM 4 beta is currently in the final stretch of the public beta, and the game is released on April 19th 2011.
