For those eagerly awaiting DiRT 3, you will be glad to know that the wait is finally over. DiRT 3 is finally here and along with it is an all-new global launch trailer. The ‘World of Racing’ trailer features DiRT 3?s wide range of game modes, from traditional Rally to innovative freestyle Gymkhana events, plus Trailblazer, and multi-car Head 2 Head, Land Rush and Rallycross stages, with all of these available online as well.
On May 31, Sony will be releasing the Limited Edition PlayStation 3 Call of Duty: Black Ops Bundle. Not only will you get a 160 GB PS3 system and a copy of Activision Publishing Inc. and Treyarch’s critically acclaimed Call of Duty: Black Ops, you’ll also be treated to the First Strike Content Pack – for free.
What’s the Beast, you ask? Like a meteor from outer space it’s a force of destruction too powerful for humanity to contain. At the end of inFamous, Cole MacGrath was given a vision that the Beast would arrive into the world and that he alone could stop it. The safety of our species was put on his shoulders.
As promised, Activision and studios Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games have released the highly anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 reveal trailer (see below). The video shows off images of downtown New York City at war, England’s underground rail system being attacked, soldiers in Paris engage in a heavy battle and entire buildings in Germany being brought down to ashes.

Despite rumors last week, the PlayStation Store will not be returning this week. In fact, the PSN is unavailable again due to scheduled maintenance. The maintenance window will run until 5pm Pacific Time, as Sony aim to restore all PSN services by the end of the month.
Now that the PlayStation Network is back up, we finally got a change to play the inFamous 2 UGC Beta that was released last month to selected PlayStation Plus subscribers. We’ve created a short gameplay video with over 5 minutes of in-game footage to enjoy (see below). Check out some of Cole’s new powers and let us know what you think.
A new PSP system software update, v6.39, will be released soon. With this update, users who need to change their PlayStation Network password will be guided through the process. Also, system software stability during use of some features will be improved.
Following the release of the Resistance 3 packshot earlier this week, SCEE and Insomniac Games are now proud to follow up with the official announce of the Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One packshot. Insomniac has also revealed that All 4 One will be releasing across PAL regions from October 19th, 2011.
According to Gamasutra, Sony has informed developer partners that the PlayStation Store will return on May 24th 2011. The PlayStation Store has been offline since the PlayStation Network was attacked last month. Sony plans to do two content pushes per week for the next two weeks to catch up with the backlog of content, the first of which will be on May 24th.
