The Battlefield 3 beta dates have been announced for the PS3. The Beta is open to all and will run from September 29th to October 10th. You can join it by simply going to the going the PlayStation Store and navigating to the Demos section and downloading the Battlefield 3 demo.
Today’s sees the launch of the Access TV show on the PlayStation Store in the UK. Available to download every Wednesday from the UK PlayStation Store, Access is completely free for all UK PSN account holders to watch on their PlayStation 3 consoles.

A super short video has surfaced of a PlayStation Vita showing Killzone 3 gameplay using Remote Play. Although the video was recorded using a shaky camera, the quality is pretty decent. We’ve filed this under rumor for now since we cannot confirm the authenticity of the video.
Resident Evil 4 HD is coming to the PlayStation Network this month. The entire Resident Evil 4 experience (including all bonus content from previous versions) has been remastered in high definition and will be a treat for both new fans and RE veterans. The game will be available on the PlayStation Store on Wednesday, September 21st.

John Garvin, writer and director of the title, runs through two of the levels that were featured this week at the Tokyo Game Show. As part of Sony’s press conference at the Tokyo Game Show earlier this morning, Sony have issued a press release detailing the PlayStation Vita complete tech specs, launch line-up and pricing details. First up, there are 26 games available at launch, with more than 74 currently in development.
Great news for fans of Final Fantasy X. Square Enix has just announced that Final Fantasy X will be getting an HD re-release in celebration of the game’s 10th anniversary. Personally, I rather see a remake of Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII for the PS3 and PlayStation Vita in HD, but this is good news nonetheless.
