Access Episode 4 is already on the PlayStation Store, but now you can watch it right here as usual. This week, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations goes under the Game of the Week spotlight, as Access takes an in-depth look at Ezio’s new range of stabby fighting moves.
The criminal masterminds behind the highly anticipated PSN co-op shooter PAYDAY: The Heist, are coming for your PS3s very soon. SOE and the OVERKILL team have worked diligently to develop and create a game with the highest quality of content.
To commemorate the release of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception on November 2nd, Naughty Dog, the team behind the Uncharted franchise will be holding a developer session on Saturday 15th October, open exclusively to the PlayStation Access community.
The GT5 v2.0 update was released this week, and now the upcoming DLC packs have been confirmed. Update 2.0 is a fairly major enhancement for GT5 with some great new features and free content, as well as some popular improvements and fixes. Now for the DLC packs – GT5 will be getting four DLC packs arriving on the PlayStation Store on 18th October.
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception has gone gold, and is on its way to being manufactured for its November 1st release. And as an added bonus, all retail copies of Uncharted 3 will include a voucher code for early access to the upcoming Starhawk Public Beta, which will be coming in early 2012.
Earlier today, Sony prevented a second hacking attempt on the PlayStation Network. Sony detected attempts on Sony Entertainment Network, PlayStation Network and Sony Online Entertainment (“Networks”) services to test a massive set of sign-in IDs and passwords against their network database.
Sony has revealed the top 20 selling titles on the PlayStation Network from last month. Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection earned the top slot in September. Newcomers Resident Evil 4 HD, From Dust, Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, Burnout Crash! and Renegade Ops also made strong showings this month.

The sequel to PSN title Shank has been announced. Shank 2 will better graphics and more interactive environments, including collapsing ceilings, crumbling floors, fiery environments, barrels and other large objects that you can pick up and hurl, and an all new co-op mode.
