The official PlayStation Store for PlayStation Certified devices launches today. It is available immediately on Sony Corporation’s “Sony Tablet S.” At launch, 10 PSone games will be available on the PlayStation Store for €4.99 / £3.99 each. A great line-up of PSone classics and favourites will be available on the PS Store for PlayStation Certified devices at launch.
Sony’s Playstation Vita has long been slated for a December release in Japan, but Sony has just announced at the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco that their new portable will be hitting shelves in North America and in Europe on February 22 2012. We already knew the PSVita was expected in early 2012, but it’s good to get a confirmed date.
SOCOM: Special Forces is getting a blast from the past with two new DLC packs just announced. The first of the two packs revisits the past and brings back what is perhaps the series’ most popular mode, “Demolition”, alongside this much loved mode you will get new maps weapons and character skins as well.
Need for Speed The Run is an illicit high-stakes cross-country race from San Francisco to New York. You’ll be playing as Jack, who is a marked man and his only way out is to battle other 200 racers for a sweet $25 million dollar prize. Starting October 19th, PS3 owners can get their hands on The Run demo!

Starting today, Uncharted 3 is getting a a revamped map in the Multiplayer Experience. The Facility map was first revealed at the New York Comic Con, and will put your new skills to the test on a fresh new level. If you haven’t got access to the Multiplayer Experience yet, you can get in on the action from participating Subway restaurants in North America.
ModNation Racers on the title has finally received an official name from the developers. The PlayStation Vita title will be officially called ModNation Racers: Road Trip. More details about the game will be revealed in the coming months but in the mean time, you can see some of our previous coverage on the game here, and the first video of the game in action here.

It has been just over a year since the original launch of Square Enix MMO, Final Fantasy XIV, and during that time players haven’t had to fork out once for a subscription.
