Electronic Arts has announced that “there have been some misunderstandings around Battlefield 1943 and Battlefield 3” and they intend to deliver the promised free copy of Battlefield 1943. Games in Europe can start claiming the game from tomorrow, while gamers in North America will have to wait until December 10th, followed by those in Asia the week after on December 17th.
Rumor Alert: PS3 / Vita Remote Play Locked To PSP Resolution
According to a story by Eurogamer, the PlayStation Vita’s Remote Play functionality will be the same resolution as the PSP, which is currently stands at 480px x 272px resolution, and scaled up to the Vita’s resolution. A firmware update will enable Remote Play for all titles, and new PS3 games will be able to include a specific 480p resolution for the Vita.

Tekken Hybrid Now Available for PS3
Tekken Hybrid is now available exclusively on the PS3. Tekken Hybrid comes with three Tekken experiences: Tekken Tag Tournament HD, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue, and Tekken Blood Vengeance 3D all on one Blu-ray disc. Both Tekken Blood Vengeance and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue are both compatible with 3D televisions.

At a press even in London earlier today, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Studios Europe, Michael Denny, gave a presentation announcing the PlayStation Vita launch line-up and upcoming games, as well as showing off some of the social features of the PlayStation Vita.
Jak and Daxter Collection Coming to PS3
The Jak and Daxter are coming to the PS3, making their debut in February with the launch of the Jak and Daxter Collection. The Jak and Daxter Collection features three of the Jak and Daxter titles – Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3. All the games have been remastered in 720p high definition and full stereoscopic 3D.
Uncharted 3 Sold Just Under 4 Million Copies On Day One
According to a recent SCEE press release, Naughty Dog blockbuster Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, sold 3.8 million units in its first day alone. In comparison, Battlefield 3 recently shifted 5 million units in its launch week all three available platforms. Seeing that Uncharted 3 is a PlayStation exclusive, this is a phenomenal achievement.
Vodafone Announced As Preferred Partner For PS Vita 3G Connectivity
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) and Vodafone have today announced a partnership that will see Vodafone as the preferred provider of 3G connectivity for PlayStation Vita initially in the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand and The Netherlands, and with Vodafone’s Partner in France (SFR).
