The actress, known for her role in Californication as Lizzie; Claudette in True Blood; and as Kate Middleton in made-for-TV movie William & Kate, has been revealed as the voice behind Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider game. Camilla Luddington also provided motion capture acting for the game too – the first time the same actress has bee used for both roles.
Capcom has announced that its latest IP, action RPG Dragon’s Dogma, has shipped over one million copies to retailers, since the title was released toward the end of May. Of course, it doesn’t indicate the actual number of units sold, but it does mean there is a huge demand for the game.

The rumour yesterday was spot on. Firmware v4.20 is now available to download for the PS3, brining with it a number of changes and fixes. Firstly, the power-save mode has been revised to comply with SCEE regulations, which means that the system will now, as default, be set to automatically turn off after 1 hour of no use.

Capcom has announced the contents of the Resident Evil 6 Collector’s Edition. The announcement, on the Capcom Blog, indicates the collection is coming to Europe and is available to pre-order from today. Hideo Kojima has confirmed that Metal Gear Solid 5 is in the works and that it will be built using the Fox Engine. The developer told French magazine IG that the game is in development and will see the return of Solid Snake. At E3 2012, Kojima confirmed that the Fox engine runs on the PS3, Xbox 360 and current PCs.
The Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut DLC, which was leaked a while ago, will be released in North America this week. However, the DLC won’t be available in Europe (or elsewhere outside North America) until next week – July 4th 2012 to be precise.
