Sony has sold over 200,000 copies of Tokyo Jungle, a survival action game exclusively available on the PS3. The number includes both digital and Blu-ray disc versions of the game, since the title was launched in Japan on June 7, 2012.
Over 830,000 Gamers Enter GT Academy 2012 Competition in Europe
SCEE has revealed that over 830,000 gamers entered the Nissan and PlayStation GT Academy Online Competition across Europe. The entry for the competition closed last week, which involved gamers download and competing in a Gran Turismo 5 standalone demo.

Almost an entire hour of gameplay footage from Star Wars: Battlefront 3 has been leaked by Past to Present. The game was being developed by Free Radical Design before the project was cancelled when the company went into administration back in 2009.
New PS3 Model (CECH-4000) Spotted
Details of a new PS3 model, coded CECH-4000, have been spotted on the FCC website. The diagrams filed with the FCC spotted this morning show the label placement has changed, suggesting the revised console is using a new case. Could this be the new PS3 Slim model Sony is rumoured to be working on?
PS3 Firmware 4.21 Released
Sony have revealed that a new incremental update for the PS3 has been released. The update is optional, however, so you won’t be forced to update to it. Firmware v4.21 “improves software stability”, suggesting some games didn’t work well after the last update.

Sony’s Intention is to Start “Online Videogame Streaming Service” using Gaikai
Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, Andrew House, president and Group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, has revealed Sony’s plans on how the company will use cloud streaming service Gaikai. Sony announced that it will be acquiring Gaikai early this week.
