More characters are still to be announced for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, including at least two new characters at EVO Fighting Tournament tonight, and a further two new characters at Comic Con. Sony has also revealed the release date for the title on PS3 and PS Vita today.

Speaking with MCV, Fergal Gara, SCE UK VP and MD Fergal Gara, said that retail sales will be a important “whenever the next cycle” of consoles are released, despite declines in sales over recent years. This means the PS4 won’t solely rely on digital purchases and cloud-based gaming.
Tales of Xillia Announced for Europe
Namco have announced that Tales of Xillia will be coming to the PS3 in North America and Europe. The game was released in Japan back in September 2011, and will hit the West in 2013. The news was announced during the Japan Expo in Paris earlier today.
Rambo: The Video Game Will Debut At GamesCom 2012
Reef Entertainment has announced that he first “playable” appearance of Rambo: The Videogame will be revealed at Gamescom next month. According to the commercial director, their newest game will allow players to “really get under the skin of Rambo and wield his iconic weapon-set in battle.”
Marvel vs. Capcom Origins Coming to PSN This Year

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Trailer Reveals New Game Modes
Namco Bandai have shown off another new trailer for their upcoming team-based beat-em-up Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Although the trailer is in Japanese, you can see some game modes visible in the footage. The trailer also appears to feature a larger cast of Tekken fighters than previous titles.
