An advert found on EA’s digital distribution service Origin, has given the first confirmation that Battlefield 4 is coming. The ad offers Battlefield 4 beta access to players who pre-order Medal of Honor: Warfighter, which is set to hit later this year.
Cole and Jak Join PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale
Two more characters were revealed at Comic-Con in San Diego today, for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Jak & Daxter from Naughty Dog’s Jak and Daxter series and Cole MacGrath from Sucker Punch Studio’s inFamous have been added to the game’s roster.

Assassin’s Creed 3 Boston Walkthrough
Ubisoft has released 6 minutes of Assassin’s Creed 3 footage, showing Creative Director Alex Hutchinson taking you through the streets of Boston in 1773. The video shows Connor kill a variety of enemies using new methods as well as old ones from previous titles.
Neon Alley App Coming to PSN
Anime fans will soon be able to enjoy their favourite content on the PS3 is a whole new way. Sony has announced that VIZ Media’s Neon Alley will be coming to the PlayStation Network later this year, allowing PS3 owners to stream anime straight to their PS3s. The app accompanies the Crunchyroll app that was previously announced.
The Last of Us: Bill’s Safe House Cinematic
A new video of The Last of Us was revealed at Comic-Con in San Diego over the weekend, showing a cut-scene from the game. The video shows Joel and Ellie at a Safe House with a masked character, and features some strong language.
Metal Gear Solid 4 Getting New Retail Version
In addition to the recently announced trophy patch for Metal Gear Solid 4, Konami has also confirmed that there will be a new retail version of the game, known as “The Best” edition, available at a lower price and allowing gamers to install all the game data needed for the game from the start.
Angry Birds Coming to PS3 At Ridiculously High Price
Rovio, the developer behind the Angry Birds game on iOS and Android, has confirmed that the game is heading to consoles. Activision is publishing the HD console versions of the Angry Birds Trilogy, who said the game will retail for $39.99 on the PS3 – a big difference compared to the iOS version, where all three titles would set you back a mere $6.
Two New Screens for GTA5 Released by Rockstar
Rockstar have released two new screenshots from their upcoming title: Grand Theft Auto V. The new images were released as part of their Asked & Answered series on their blog. The two screens aren’t much, but show the crisp graphics and details that has gone into the game so far.
Metal Gear Solid 4 Finally Gets Trophies via Free DLC
Konami has confirmed in a press release that METAL GEAR SOLID 4: Guns of the Patriots will be getting new DLC to celebrate the series’ 25th anniversary. The patch will finally add trophies to the game – 34 trophies in total. The trophy list has yet to be revealed, along with details on if the trophies will unlock retroactively.
