EU PlayStation Store Update for July 18th 2012
This week on the European PlayStation Store, Plus subscribers can find two new games added to the Instant Game Collection. There are also a number of new PS3 games, DLC, themes and avatars ready for download.
Yakuza 1 & 2 HD Remakes Confirmed By Famitsu
An early edition of Famitsu has confirmed the rumoured HD remakes of the first two Yakuza games, originally released on the PS2. First spotted in a release schedule published by Sega, the HD remakes will some on a single Blu-ray disc and is scheduled for release in November 2012 in Japan.
Resident Evil 6 Has Nude Boss Battle
According to the ESRB rating for Resident Evil 6, the game has been given a M “Mature” rating due to the violence, blood and gore, strong language and suggestive themes. However, the rating also reveals that the game contains nudity.
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Getting Patch v1.13 Soon
Naughty Dog are currently working hard on a new patch for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. The patch will update the game to version v1.13 and includes “an exciting new system, fresh DLC, and gameplay fixes,” according to the developers. Naughty Dog has also revealed that the patch will add a massive 50 new trophies to the game.

EA Officially Confirms Battlefield 4
EA has officially confirmed Battlefield 4 is in development after an advert promoting the Battlefiend 4 Beta was spotted on EA’s Origin. Those who pre-order the Medal of Honor: Warfighter Limited Edition will gain access to the Battlefield 4 beta, a video on the official Medal of Honor website confirms.
European Instant Game Collection Gets Two New Titles Tomorrow
SCEE has revealed that Europe will be getting two new titles in the Instant Game Collection in tomorrow’s PlayStation Store update. Chime Super Deluxe and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine will be removed from the collection and replaced with Lara Croft & the Guardian of Light and Saints Row 2.
US PlayStation Plus Update for Mid-July 2012
To round of July, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be getting more discounts and freebies in today’s PlayStation Store update. As previously announced, Plus subscribers will get 20% off new titles in the PlayStation PLAY range, in addition to other titles.
Ghost Recon Future Soldier DLC Releases Today
The previously delayed inaugural map pack for Ubisoft’s tactical shooter Ghost Recon Future Soldier will be releasing today on the PlayStation Store. The DLC pack, titled Arctic Strike, enhances the multiplayer components of the game, adding new maps, weapons and trophies.
